I know it's frowned on to vape where there's no smoking allowed, depending on the situation. But I have vaped in many no smoking areas now, notably at work.

It is illegal here to smoke in parks and at the beaches. I was breaking that law already if there were no kids or crowds around (butts go in my pocket or bag), so I have been vaping in those places. I have "stealth" vaped a few times in stores now, and even my own kitchen if no one else is around. My BFF is okay with it in her car and it was nice to have on a horseback trail ride last weekend. I don't have to worry about burning down Griffith Park!

Though it's illegal here to smoke in a car with minors, I'd definitely vape if I had my minor nieces or nephews in my car for any length of time, assuming they don't mind.

Anyone else?

About the only places around here that are considered no smoking are large stores, groceries and such. And I vape in those places without a second thought. I guess any type of government facility is no smoking too. Smoking in restaurants and bars is still legal here and most everywhere else is also.

There's a kwik shop down the road and when the pakistani guy that works there, tries to get me to buy cigarettes, I pull out my ego, hit it and blow it in his face.

Well of course it's awesome to vape in bars and restaurants again. But, my favorites places are now empty isles at the grocery store, the bowling alley while all my buddies are having to run in and out to smoke and movie theaters. I could never smoke in the movies before! Now, I vape there all the time.

I have stealth-vaped in airplane lavatories, in airport restrooms and openly in a dimly-lit boarding area. I've vaped when no one was looking at me in Walmart (altho, I guess, someone might have been watching via a surveillance cam), when I was alone in a doctor's waiting room and in exam rooms. Once, when the line at the grocery store was moving with irritating slowness, I pulled out my 510 and took a long drag just daring someone to notice—no one reacted. I vape openly in my car and keep expecting someone some day will honk while we're sitting at a red light or tap on my window while I'm sitting in a parking lot.

This year, for the first time ever, I will not be freezing my ... off outside of my husband's company's Christmas party! I will probably stealth-vape in the ladies' room of the restaurant. Since some of his co-workers know we have these new-fangled e-cig things, we might be asked to demonstrate and I plan on taking some sealed, pre-filled carts in case anyone wants to try it out.

Concerts! Been to Van Halen, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Kiss and Duran Duran, since I started vaping and I was always granted permission by staff security to do so:) Also do it in Doctors offices, airplane lavatories (+stealth vape in seat), my house, my car(with people in it), the "non-smoking" boardwalk at the Jersey shore and the beach!

I know it's frowned on to vape where there's no smoking allowed, depending on the situation.

I would vehemently disagree with that premise. There are certainly some who voice that opinion. But there are many others who opine just as strongly to the contrary, that vaping can and should be indulged in just about anywhere. IT IS NOT SMOKING, so whether smoking is allowed or not is utterly meaningless to what I regard as the personal and situational decision whether it is appropriate to vape in any given location. That's my opinion, and it is shared by many others as well.

I live in a state where smoking is not allowed in ANY public places, and to be truthful, my ability to vape anywhere and everywhere is absolutely cherished, and probably the single most important reason I am so very happy to have discovered e-cigs three years ago!

Honestly, I vape anywhere and everywhere. In my house, the car, in class during lecture, in the hallways at the hospital during clinicals, and in any bathroom. I vape in the student lounge, the cafeteria, Starbucks, Red Lobster, any restaurant regardless of the smoking status. Walmart, grocery stores, Target, the mall, my aunts house at Thanksgiving...... well, you all get the point! lol

Do I sit there and make a big scene out of vaping? No. I am casual about it, not totally hiding it but not jumping into peoples faces and taking a big ol' hit and blowing the vapor in their faces either. I have never had anyone tell me not to vape or to stop. In fact, I have had a few people ask me out of interest, but never out of disgust or irritation.

I feel like I should be able to vape anywhere, regardless of smoking status, because vaping is not smoking. I believe vaping is like cussing--it is full blown "out and proud" appropriate sometimes, and other times it is best descretely whispered under your breath. I treat vaping the same way. I fog up a ton of vapor at home on the sofa, and I stealth vape when out in public.

Happy vaping everyone!!

My car and my house!

Even though I smoked 1-1/2 to 2 PAD for 45 years, for the past 12 years I have refrained from smoking in my house and my car...or anyone else's, for that matter. So, while my old car doesn't smell new anymore, at least it doesn't reek of smoke, and the lampshades in my house are still white!

However, now that I'm new to vaping, I'm vaping a lot more than I smoked, it seems. So, I'm vaping in my house and my car because I don't think I've found the right nic level yet to be able to put my PV down without suddenly thinking about having an analog.

Want to get my vaping habits to be like my smoking habits, so I go outside for that, too, and don't spend all my time vaping. Hasn't happened yet, though...have too many new flavors and devices to try...and that takes a lot of time. :)
