What ohm will a Vamo V2 and/or MVP 2.0 push?

I only have a Vamo and MVP. Also, aside from carto tanks I only have protank's and T3's. I've been wrapping my own standard coils at about 2-2.5 ohms on my protank's and T3S's using silica wicks. After watching some great vids on YouTube I really wanna try a nano coil with organic cotton wick in them. The nano coils I've seen wrapped for protank's/T3's seem to come out to 1-1.5 ohms. Anyone know if the Vamo or MVP can push something in the 1.5 ohm range?

From past experience, the lowest resistance that the Vamo can handle is 1.2 Ohms. It may be 1.3...I'm not 100% sure. If you build coils that are 1.3 and higher, you should be in good shape. I don't know much about the MVP. I believe it has a 3 amp limit and the Vamo has a 5 amp limit. The MVP probably could handle 1.5 and up (guessing). You can try to run whatever you want. If it's not going to work, the PV's will let you know!

Awesome answer, just the info I was looking for! Thanks! I just wanted to get a ball-park idea of what I should be aiming for ohm wise. Looks like you run out of coil room quick in those PT/T3 heads... I might have to break down and buy that Ithaca clone and K100 and check out what everyone's talking about lol... Thanks again!

I've been considering buying an Ithaca or maybe even a Kayfun mini. They just seem so complicated and expensive unless you go with a clone. I recently got the iGo W and a Trident clone and they are both excellent. They're both fairly reasonably priced to boot. I also have an AC9 rebuild-able. I paid $135 and it sits most of the time collecting dust! I just can't seem to get it to work as well as other people have. On the other hand, the RDA's are a breeze to coil and produce plumes of vapor. The Ithaca type atty's are definitely temping!

I've been looking at the Kayfun too. I don't like the idea of buying a clone, the person who designs the device should reap the rewards. However, no matter how much I try I cannot justify spending more than twice the price of my mods for a tank. I've found some decent clones and will just hope the manufactures are paying royalties to Svo (he had to have patented these great devices right?). In the meantime, I'm loving my ProTank 2's with 2 ohm machine-screw wraped coils and cotton ball wicks! Still haven't gotten the knack of wrapping the nano coil for the ProTank, but I'll keep practicing.
