The main things I noticed are the cat food I eat tastes a lot better, and I curse at children and beat up elders a lot less, but I fart a lot more now (I don't know if more farting is an improvement or not)

That sort of depends on your significant other. The hubby and I have set up an Olympic style judging system on burps and farts. It is a composite 1-10 score based on sound and smell. ;)

Mine you we have been together 20+ years and are way past the trying to hide passing gas phase in the relationship.

Getting to meet some of the coolest, most caring and giving individuals I've ever met in my life is definitely on the top of the list.

Just today I met with someone and gave them a Z-max I won at a local vapemeet for their boyfriend to use.

She is gonna take his Ego-twist and give it to an elderly lady trying to quit.

The PIF forum is full of stories and people like this and so are local and national vape meets.

I noticed that smoking was causing a dry and stuck paranasal sinuses and exhaling trough the nose makes the holes moist and everything which was stuck before was coming out.
I love the fact, when on the road i just take out my eGo make a puff and put it back in my shirt pocket before entering a building, train, bus ect...... Try this with a cigaret:) no waste,no smell.

I've only been off analogues for 2 days and already started coughing up a bit of phlegmy goodness... I'm hoping that's the old analogue gunk and not new goodies caused by the e cigs?

It isn't uncommon to Hawk Up phlegm for the First Week of quitting smoking.

If it lasts much longer than that, you should see a Doctor.

I drink less. I'm not a big drinker but I always had 2-3 beers in the evening and a bourbon on the rocks after dinner (I'm 6-3 / 220 so others may think this is a lot but not me).

Once I started vaping I realized my first beer came much later and I was forgetting my bourban. I suppose it's because I'm not having to chase grabbing cigs outside anymore and filling the void with something else.

So now I don't smoke and I drink less. If that isn't a win-win I don't know what is.

I am having some negative effects, but I think its more due to withdrawal and personal issues in my life. As I have mentioned before, I don't think there's ever a perfect time to quit. Just do it, you know?

I never understood the "I'll quit after [insert life stress here]". I always quit regardless of the rest of life. I felt it was a built in excuse for future failure. "But X happened and I got so stressed I needed a smoke."

Ok, well it's just a small amount and if it's common then I guess nothing to worry about just yet... thanks for the advice :)

I understand this. That was the story of my life. "Life is what happens while making other plans." I am not sure who said that but i think it was John Lennon?

Ever since I quit smoking and started vaping, I find I suddenly burst out into singing show tunes! Show tunes of all things! Ain't that the damnedest thing? I know the lyrics to musicals I've never even seen. It turns, I have a voice like an angel with a 5 octave range! The only place it's really been a problem has been Starbucks. Yesterday I bust out into Oklahoma! in the middle of the "waiting for your coffee because you've already paid" line and the next thing you know, most the store is singing in support roles - including the baristas. The only reason it was a problem is that where was a grumpy guy who hadn't had his morning coffee and he tried hollering "Shut up you Broadway .......! I need my cuppa Joe!" It didn't last long, my vocals winds just swept him out the store. My wife is ok with it as long as I never ever sing from the Sound of Music while we are amorous. Vaping is good.

rounding third and heading home...
I quit smoking about a month and a half ago. So far the only effect I've really noticed is that my breathing is better. Before walking to and from work, which is about 2 miles, would leave me out of breath. Now I feel perfectly normal and I think I could probably walk twice that far without feeling exhausted.

I used to wake up and cough up a disgusting brown plug of thick phlegm. now it is lighter in color....explain to me again the benefit of "great ,big throat hit" when vaping

I've only been vaping for a few days, but I really enjoy not having to go out to the garage for a cig. It's hot here in texas!! Just being able to sit thru a whole movie on the couch and not have to pause it for a smoke break is awesome! I can't wait for my taste buds to come back either. I can vape in the work truck without worrying about it smelling like smoke. Hell, I was vaping while I was bowling this past weekend!! Try that with a cig. Now if I could just get the wife on board, things would be great. It's crazy how bad I think cigs smell already. A lot of positives.
