So I have 4 eGo Style batteries (mini, 650, 900 Ultra VV, SLB 650 VV) and one 'mod' the rubusto. Im mainly using Phoenix Reborn bottom coil, sometimes MT3, and ill be getting a cart/tank and vivi nova soon to give them a try.

My question is: Should I get the eVic ?
I want a APV (dont ask me why, as im not 100% sure why, i just know i want) I like that its VV/VW I like knowing how many puffs are remaining on the battery, i like that it gets updates. I have a Mac, and they have no software for it (yet)(I will not run windows on my mac just for a APV),

If you answer 'NO', what APV would you recommend me to get.

KKX IMO...... I would think the whole mac window thing would have me wait a bit for this mod. least if $$$ is the cause of the debate. Having a Robust you would be quite familiar on the clicking needed for the Vision VW mod? Just a thought as I have and love both. Or jump in with both feet, I'm sure you will handle and enjoy the eVic just fine. But either way please feel confident with your choice.

I want an apv too, and I as well am looking into the evic. I've heard a lot of mixes reviews, but something about it is appealing. I like the versatility of it. But on the other hand, it's $100 and that is half of a provari.

Well, that brings the question; What can a Provari do that an eVic can't?

(and i might not be able to run custom firmware, they decrypted the firmware, so id have to be able to get the key first (MUCH HARDER)

You're doing quite well one month in :D Better then I at one month in. You have your head wrapped around these things.. Whatever your choices enjoy them.

LoL, when i find something i like, i learn all about it, FAST!
Since I run my own company from home, and this time of year is EXTRA SLOW! I have more time on my hand, so this is also become a hobby. ;)

It is my thoughts dat you need to get one of everything then you'll never regret your purchase cuz one of them has got to werk out for you
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

If only I had that kind of money

That is a good question. I think the provari, from what I've heard, is an overall well made tank of a device. Although, the evic has some great potential with the updatable firmware. As for the key to get into the firmware, I'm sure you can find it online, or figure it out. I'm sure they left a back door somewhere.. They always do :)

Good point, im sure the provari does better in a drop test.

And i might just wait till the firmware is cracked, so i dont have to do all that extra work (im sure its a simple encryption, no reason for them to do else wise)

All kidding aside Kraks, if it were for "ME", I'd wait until all the kinks were worked out of the Evic before I purchased it escpecially since you have a mac. BUT.........YOU have to do what makes YOU happy and no one else can decide that for you babes :D

Well thats the good part about the device though, the kinks ;) ITS UPGRADABLE! They already fixed some, and beta 1.2 should be out in under 2 weeks, fixing a ton more (from what iv seen)

My Stash after to years LOL... you be doing good, keep it up.

2 years and still No provari (sad really) with that one for me it's the steller 2 warranty.
However they really need to get on the OLED/VW (no scrolling) thing now so I'm waiting and hoping for a V3 from them. (IMO)

I wouldn't get the EVIC. The reason why cause it is inaccurate with its voltage out put and not a good built. Yes the idea of being able upgrade a software sounds good but you can do so much with an upgrade. I ve talked to OVALE and seems like even the new coming firmware is not solving the voltage out put. If you are looking for something solid and accurate then I'd suggest provari.

Yes it is

It will pass the test

This is my point, I had a Provari and I gave it away. NO ONE can tell you what you need to buy Kraks because we are all different in our personal vaping preferences. I myself did not worship the Provari as everyone else did , for me it was a weight lifting heavy hunk of pv. I prefer the smaller lighter things. YOU have to decide for YOURSELF Honey

Nice tanks ;)
Yep, I see that too, for Provari money, no way without an high res LED screen. (maybe a bday gift, or xmas gift) While right now the eVic has the best looking screen on any APV iv ever seen

That screen and the tinkering almost got me too. Till I decided if I got one I would name it B.O.B..

Momma is the smart one here can't hurt to try. It's your satisfaction no one else can find that for you.
Just have fun doing it...
