I have problems falling asleep.. before analogs too...

Im starting to wonder if too much nicotine is keeping me up.. but then again when I try to go to bed my thoughts start running wild coming up with 100's of scenarios in my head.. lol

I went to the Dr about this before but he was not much help niether were the scripts he wrote..

That said, I vape 18mg.

Would tapering down during the early evening help me get tired?

I doubt it. I vape up until the moment I fall asleep. I usually vape 24mg and 12mg on my V2.

At higher doses nicotine acts more like a sedative than a stimulant.

Try vitamin B6 an hour before bed and if that doesn't work try Melatonin. Melatonin helps regulate your sleep cycle.

...or Benadryl may help make you drowsy as well.

You may be bipolar, formerly known as manic-depressive - which is thoroughly pervasive among smokers, or should I say those with a nicotine affinity. I happen to think that the psychiatrists are full of ..... and if you're still switched on at bed time, it means you should stay up and paint, invent, write, or do whatever it is you enjoy instead of taking drugs to knock you out like the rest of the dumkopffen.

I'm a total nightowl, & that's exactly what I do - I stay up late, paint & do mixed media art... Oh & surf the net... I sometimes think I fit the whole bipolar thing too!

One of the side effects of quitting cigs is insomnia:( I have a problem falling asleep now that I never had before. My research says that it can take some time to get over it.
I found ( again through research) that eating something with carbs in it right before bed
stimulates production of some chemical in the body that helps induce sleep.
It does seem to help. I just do a slice of bread and butter.
Cant hurt to try it.

I use 24mg all the time, it doesn't seem to make a difference what time it is. I think that since I have been using e-cigs it actually helps me fall asleep faster. I notice that if I am not puffing on my e-cig I stay up really late or when I do try to fall asleep I just lay awake in bed fidgeting. If I am using my e-cig all night I tend to go to bed earlier and sleep better. Maybe I'm an exception to the norm but that's how it goes for me.

i used to be wired from nic at night. had little appetite and quit drinking so much coffee too since i started vaping.

now i vape about 6mg at night and 26 or 6mg during the day, depends. if i'm chain vaping i up the nicotine and am satisfied. sometimes lower nic just causes chain vape sessions. when i DIY juice, i don't have a clue what mg it is, because i eyeball it, but it's definitely less than 12mg

i fall asleep around 4am regardless of lower or higher nic, but i do notice that i don't have that wired feeling with 6mg at night.

i also drink black coffee and roll over and go to sleep just fine, so it was the nic at night that kept me wired.
