I was an as soon as I got up smoker, I would have my first cig in the shower - the only cig I smoked inside.
Now I don't vape until I'm out of the shower, and it's just a puff here, a puff there while I'm getting ready in the morning.
Then on the walk to the bus stop about an hour later, I'm ready for some serious vaping.

Seriously? I'm the first person to get to quote this post?

Not to be dirty :p , but based on your user name, I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO STATE INTERNET LAW on this....

pics or it never happened !!

While I'm waiting for the kettle to boil for that first cup of tea in the morning - within 10 minutes of getting up.

Yep, me too, except I drink coffee instead of tea. I wake up, start the water boiling, wash my hands, check my blood sugar, then grab my pv and puff away as I watch the water boil. No more than 10 minutes altogether.

My usual morning routine was this:

  1. Crawl out of bed
  2. Drag a pair of pants on
  3. Let the dog out and grab the paper
  4. Grab a glass of orange juice
  5. Turn on the computer
  6. Smoke a cigarette

Now step 6 is a couple of puffs off the vaporizer. It's less of a kick than a cigarette was first thing in the morning, and that's actually a good thing.

Note to self: don't do step 3 without step 2. Neighbors are a nosy and uptight bunch.

I find I don't have the same sense of urgency to start vaping that I did when I smoked for some reason. I wait at least an hour or more in the morning. I do find that I chain vape at night while watching tv or playing on the computer though. I don't get the irritability anymore either, where I just have to get that nicotine in my system now or I'm going to kill somebody! Strange, maybe because it's absorbed differently? Don't know

This post is me too almost as if I wrote it myself.

My MVP is on the night stand. I vape anytime I wake up throughout the night, and as soon as I open my eyes must mornings. Once in a while I don't vape until I'm dressed, but that's only when I forget and don't remember until I'm in the bathroom. I top off the tanks and lay out my vape gear for the next day at night.

When I was smoking cigarettes I would wake up and sit on the toilet and wait for my shower to steam up the restroom and then smoke one or two cigarettes before jumping in for a shower this is within ten minutes ok waking up. Now that I only use my PV I tend to wait after I shower and eat my first meal and then vape away which is within an hour. I feel that my throat is really sensitive in the morning, even though I was smoking cigarettes (dying) right after waking up it was still killing my throat..but that's how much I hated working at my old job (Target/Targay) I rather die than work there ever again.

About the same time I had my first smoke: 20-45 minutes after getting up. It all depends on how I feel, if I do my morning yoga, how long it takes to get some coffee in my system, and how much water I need first. I've found that I have more patience for waiting to vape than I did while smoking. I think it's because I vape inside, don't have to worry about running out, etc.
