In teaching a man to fish, do not throw him in at the deep end of the pond.... Unless you have already taught him how to swim, and you've already dynamited the fish...
If someone were to ask me a question that I positively knew the answer too, I would answer it and then recommend these forums. If I didn't know or wasn't sure about the correct answer, I would just recommend these forums.
Lately I show them my vape photo file and say a little about the ones they like. Try to steer them toward easier/ less complicated devices. I find the more they know, the more questions they come up with.

great answer! When I was new to vaping I went to the shop every other day and was pestering the clerks with many questions, they sent me here to ECF. I am still grateful to them for helping me find my way...
Agreed. I have 17 liters and might get 2 more... but that is for my wife and I.
Once they get the nicotine then focus on hardware that is sustainable.. i.e. 18650 mods not built in battery mods. If they do not want to mess with rebuildable atomizers they will need to invest heavily in coils... plus be sure to grab more than one tank and replacement glass. I'd at least recommend a few RTAs/RDAs and they can learn later. Let them know they only have until the May 2020 deadline.
