I'm just starting out at DIY, so I am just making small batches so far (biggest one so far was 45 ml). I have one 3 ml syringe, which is kind of a pain because as steved5600 pointed out, very small amounts of flavor are hard to measure, and I have to use several syringe loads of the nic base and VG. So I will get a 1 ml and 10 ml next time I shop for supplies.
You will want a blunt tip needle to reach the bottom of the bottles you are drawing from. Larger and smaller needles to match the syringe sizes would probably be good. Glass is probably nice, but will break if you drop it, and I have been reusing the plastic one I have by just running hot water through it a few times.
Other than the one syringe, all I have is the reused empty
juice bottles from prior
juice purchases. But when I get to where i want to make bigger batches, graduated cylinders would be really helpful. And if you want really good precision or will use powders, a scale is nice. But I think I would invest in a UC cleaner to speed up steeping before that.
