I think long term vapors have several of these moments throughout this journey. My first "game changer" was back when I was using Boge cartomizers two years ago, and then discovered Kanger bottom coil cartomizers, I was like "wow, this is so much better". Next is when I discovered Protank mini glassomizers, and then again when I moved on to Genesis style RBA's, and then again when I moved on to mechanical mods from VV APV's.

So "upping your game" is a really a continuum, unless you are the type that likes to eat chicken for dinner every night.

I agree with Stosh - ego batteries were the major game changer for me.

Nothing ever worked before. The eGo starter kit helped me cut WAY back. I got one on a whim hoping to just cut back .Killer-Juice.com Cherrywood Tobacco and Menthol Blend were what made me stop the rest of the way. I like their taste better than real tobacco smoke.
The itaste 3.0 just brings the tech junky in me into the world of being smoke free.
A drawback for many with the iclear 16s is the constant need to fiddle with them while using them but for me it replaced flicking my ashes as something to do with my hands between puffs.

Once I set this up and ran through my first tank I Knew the direction I wanted to go.
Now:
3 Ithaka style Tanks
2 Rocket(sort of Russian) Tanks
2 Kayfun Light Plus Tanks
2 Killer 705(Rainbow Heaven) Carto Tanks

Not much can compare to a well built RBA tank

I've had two of those moments, my first rda (igo-l) and later on my first mech (nemesis clone) those where huge improvements from what I had before

This ^^^^^^^^^ in exactly that order. I must add though that the RDA took a bit of learning. Of course my first attempts at building coils were pretty bad. Once I got it right, I was hooked on the dripping. I now have 6 RDAs and one Steam Turbine The nemesis was an immediate game changer. I put a battery in it and set it up and instantly saw why they are loved so much. I really like the simplicity of them and they are as consistent as you caould want a vape to be. Of course I don't run my battery down to 3.2 volts either.

Didn't matter much to me what I'd be vaping it with.. Tasting that first order of juice that finally knocked my socks off was a real eye-opener


My ProVari which came later is nice, too.. don't get me wrong

But my primary goal was the juice first, everything else could wait...

my first Reo tempted me into thinking for the first time ever, that i just might not revert back to smoking, like i always had before. when i got my first RM2 to go with my Reo, i knew it was a done deal.

i have 2 vamos, 2 zmaxs, 2 provaris that i haven't even seen in months. if i ever find them, they're headed to the classies.


that said, i rarely recommend Reos to new vapers. not sure if that's cuz i know most new vapers just won't "get it", or if it's cuz i want everyone to waste as much time and $$$ as i did before finding the game-changing setup.

For me it was the Aspire Nautilus. Sure, I love my MVP2 (and its little brother the Itaste VV3), and they were a step up, but the Nautilus was actually jawdropping.

The first time I tried an RDA, I knew I'd found what I'd always been looking for. Since then it's just been finding the *perfect* RDA and mod to match.

My game changer was when I received my first roll of 32 kanthal and at first, silica and then ekowool. My vape quality went from ok to superb and knowing its just going to get better. Now 8 months of rebuilding my coil heads it doesn't matter what PV or atty I use my vape quality is top shelf.

My game was upped today when these two arrived.
I don't know if everyone gets the same thing or not in the zamplebox but all the juices smell good, and I'm vaping the Jackson Vape - Aqua Dulce. It is very good for my first vape with the iclear16b.

I just recently splurged on a V3Tronix Flip. It is gorgeous, and it is performing flawlessly. It is quite a nice piece of engineering and craftsmanship.

But to be honest, the thing that really has me dazzled more than any of my previously purchased vape gear is my Origin Mod clone with Aqua clone in hybrid mode. What an awesome vape this combo is. Like a Kayfun on some serious steroids.

If you're comfortable with rebuildable atomizers, this combo is a must have for the vape collection.
