Read about them few years back but didn't give it more thought.. Then four months ago I saw an add to Genesis @ Zuckerberg's soul sucking wormhole and thought "why not give it a try".

Ordered 2x 510 Complete kits and 30x Cartridges for me and my friend. After week of testing started to browse the different vendors and started ordering better stuff.. Now almost 2 months without analog cigarettes and feeling great :)

heard about them on a radio commercial. Tried a disposable first-thought hmm not half bad.
Bought a 901 auto kit from a local brick and mortar store then quickly progressed to an eGo, then a 3.7 box mod, a vv box mod, and now a Reo!
I also have a custom made mod

My first e-cig was a DSE901 kit purchased from The Smokeless Shop. I almost made the mistake of ordering a kit from Smoking Everywhere that would have been three times the price. I first read about e-cigs in an add posted at another forum I belonged to.

New users should be happy that the prices have decreased quite a bit since early 2009.

Mine was the V2cigs ultimate kit. Heard about it through them scam e-cig review listings...it listed V2cigs as the number 1 e-cig in the world right above greensmoke and all the other high prices "mall e-cigs"...damn was I dumb to believe that lol. They did do the trick tho and got me off analogs quickly. Now I vape at 5-6 volts with a VV mod.

I really got turned on to e-cigs from an ex-smoker friend who swore by 'em. After another year of failing to quit I finally bought an e-go starter kit and the JC juice sampler (which seems to be hit or miss, but I love it). Have been analog free for 14 days and can already feel the differences in my health. So freaking amazing :p

btw this is hands-down the most polite and friendly forum I have ever visited. Hope to become a contributing member :)

Hmmmm...I was at a truck stop on my way to a horse show and I saw one of the disposables by the register. About a year later, I got aggravated at a ball game when they decided to ban cigs everywhere in the arena. I ended up smoking in the bathroom. The next game was coming up, and I remembered the disposable. Got on line, saw the obvious rip-off sites, but found out it was called an electronic cigarette or e-cigarette. A couple of google pages later I found this forum. Read everything for a couple of days and bought an eGo starter kit.

Somewhere out there
I first heard about them about 2 years ago, a cyber friends husband had just had open heart surgery and she said the only thing keeping him from smoking was ecigs and she was using them too. Dr told him cigarettes are killing him. Back then not much available but she said Red Dragon has the 2 piece carto type. Well I bought a smartfixx instead because it looked like a real cig, then got a epuffer again looked like a real cig but these where the 3 part types and I quickly grew frustrated. I then got a Reg Dragon but they tasted so bad to me I gave up. I got back into ecigs a couple months ago, bought a few disposables and one from health ecigs 2 part and it was way better. Then found Halo and wow they were really better! Still using my Halo's. So I have been thru alot of types so far, and the Halo's G6 best so far for me a slim ecig. I have GLV 2 super mini on order, can't wait for that arrive as well. My next step up :) bnrk

My first one was a NJoy NPro, RN4081 model. Saw it first in a news show on TV, then encountered a co-worker who had one, and demonstrated it to me. I bought the NPro online, before I discovered ECF. Didn't work well for me, though, so I went back to smoking, until last year when I revisited ECF where everyone was talking about the eGo. That worked, and I'm a much happier camper now.

I just ordered my first kit, today. Got a Riva 510 starter kit from Liberty Flights, along with a variety of e-juice to try. I should have it in about a week. I also ordered a Joye 510 starter kit, for my SO, though since I won't see her for a few weeks, I may try that one out, myself, as well.

I heard about e-cigs on the radio, months ago. You know, way early in the AM, when the alarm goes off and you're barely awake - but try really hard to remember what you heard...? Well, I'd completely forgotten about them, until my SO mentioned them two days ago. Then, it was a flurry of research, and finding this site (overload). Decided to stop over-thinking, and ordered my kit this morning. Looking forward to trying it out - hoping it will break me of the analog habit (though I do enjoy my pipe...).
