I saw a "Wire Nut" (Electrician) that was smoking one on a job site and asked him about it. I bought two kits that day one for myself and one for my wife. We both had smoked for years and tried every method to quit. Our analog supply was pretty low that day as we only had a full pack and a partial that was about half full, We still have that full pack. The kits I bought were some 4081 knock off, but they did the trick for about a week while I did some research here on efc and ordered some 510 stuff. We now have a few egos, a pass through each and a few home made mods.

I found V2cigs from an online review site. Paid a lot, and I've seen me a few cartos since July, but i didnt smoke my normal two packs a day! Then I picked up an elite 808 kit last month. I've had a couple of cigarettes (only two!) since July, and I ordered a Provari last week. If I vape forever, so be it. I ran a 5k last month in 31 minutes! Vape on!

I've heard the adds on the radio but didn't pay much attention to them. The about 2 years ago, my wife mentioned some spam in her email about some overpriced PV. I was tempted to get it right away but resisted the temptation. I Googled e-cigs and came across ECF. I lurked for a few days, read posts, did some research and ended up buying a DSE901. Then a Janty Dura C, DSE801, Joye Stick and about a year ago settled on a Riva 510.

My fiance told me someone in our World of Warcraft guild was having good luck with ecigarettes. So I did research, knew about web bs to enough to avoid bs sites, and ended up here. I researched here and just because I really wanted something super slim I ignored common sense and got M402 then M401 (manuals of course) but the annoyance was so great with the teensy recessed juice cup and cartridges in general that within 3 weeks I was shopping again and I picked up both of the most popular slim minis (Joye 510 manual and KR808D-1 manuals from Vapor4Life + cartomizers) and I am still using those 11 months later plus some 3.7v fat batteries and inexpensive plastic mod boxes.

I was in the process of quiting and using the gum and wasn't doing very well. I heard a radio ad from Blu e cigs. Ordered and after 3 weeks and no package I cancled. Ended up getting a disposable Volcano and was impressed. Googled e-cigarettes and thankfully found ecf and started learning. That was 2 years ago and I am still vaping away and haven't had a cig since.

I heard about e-cigs while looking around on the internet. I think it was smoke anywear or whatever. I didn't think too much about it. Fast forward a year and my wife is sending me links in my email to check out e-cigs. I ordered a Joye 510 from ecigxpress and that was it. Been vaping for 2 years come March and loving it.

I started with the NJOY NPRO. The battery itself is not so bad, but the cartomizers you buy from NJOY are pathetic -- completely dried out and 1/4 of them are DOA. I wasted over $100 on NJOY batteries and (especially) cartos. Finally found ECF, but I'm a cheapskate and decided to try to salvage my NJOY investment by refilling the used up NJOY cartos, and then ordering more RN4081 cartos online.

Stuck with the NJOY for about a week before I got my eGo. Later supplemented that with Riva batts, LR cartos, etc. Loving it in the 1st month, but starting to want more.

I had never thought about trying e cigs until a friend of mine on Facebook began using V2s. I had a couple other friends who were using Smoke51s. I tried a couple drags, and didn't like them. About the same time, my girlfriend mentioned wanting to try e cigs, so she brought home a couple NJoy disposable menthols. They weren't that great, but I was interested enough to read a few reviews of other brands. Meanwhile, my Facebook friend was still vaping away on her V2s, and raving about the various flavors. So, my gf and I ordered a V2 Couples kit. Since then, vaping has become as much a hobby as a habit, and I began looking elsewhere, for juice, mods, DIY stuff, etc. Nowadays I make my own juice, have a couple Provaris, a few box mods, use 510 cartomizers, mostly Fluxomizers.

It happened in two parts for me.

The first time was in January of 2010. Someone was talking about Blu Cigs on a local forum I frequented. I'd never heard of such a thing before and had tried to quit numerous times by this point so I was interested enough to check them out. It all looked good on paper, and I'd even gone so far as to put a kit together and start the checkout process to find out what shipping was. That's when I learned they didn't ship to Canada due to some bunk about nicotine restrictions and such. So I ended up forgetting about the idea for a while. (Turns out that was for the best.)

The next time was, on the same forum, someone talking about E-cigs in a more generic sense, not specifically mentioning Blu. WEll, this led to me embarking upon what would end up being a journey round the Internet through Google, looking up all sorts of makes, models, models, forums (including this one), learning the terminology and differences between one thing and another seemingly similar thing, and even to the discovery that despite this apparent nicotine liquid ban thing, there were still vendors not only in this country, but right in my own back yard.

So I was stoked, spent some time figuring out what I should get, and ended up with a Joye eGo kit from one place and a few juices from another. Worked out to be a very good decision indeed. :)

My first exposure came up in a Google search for something else. I checked it out and liked what I saw so I did some more searching and found ECF. That was a lucky find that prevented me from buying an ecig that would have resulted in a cartridge mail program that would have continued to charge me and send prefilled carts.

I went from 510 -> eGo -> tanks -> cartos -> variable voltage vaping. Cartos are still my favorite vape, but I use the vv mod around the house.

My neighbor told me about an e-cig she got at a local drugstore. She kept asking me if I'd gone to get one, so finally I did. Wish I'd done some research first, because I don't use that one at all anymore. It was good, okay. It got me off cigarettes, but I don't know how long I would have lasted.

I got online to do a search to try to find some cheaper cartomizers for it, and found ECF. Within less than two weeks I had purchased a go-go kit and started doing DIY for juices and I was hooked. I now have 5 go-go batteries, home made syringe tanks, and massive amounts of DIY supplies and juices and haven't had a cigarette in over 2 months.

9 mo. ago my computer went on the fritz so I begrudgingly took it to a repair shop. While there I kept noticing the owner kept puffing on something. It was so distracting I had to stop the conversation on the fate of my computer and investigate this new fangled thing. Long story short, I didn't buy that new computer they wanted to sell me but I did get hooked on buying an e-cig. Went home and the next day found a local vendor just 2 miles from my home who turned me on to ECF and the rest is history!
I started on an X-Power 900mah and am still using it today as I write this post....

I'm jealous that you have an ecig vendor 2 miles from your home! My closest one is 100 miles away. The good part is that if I order by 4:00pm I get my stuff in the mailbox the next day.

I saw one of those kiosks in a mall a couple of years ago, and wanted to check it out. My gf hates smoking, but told me forget it, they are ripoffs. So i forgot about it. Tried to quit (lasted about 6 months, then started again). A smoke-free house, going to the garage to smoke. About 6 months ago, my niece's husband came over, and he had one (not sure which one) and when he said it was vapor, not smoke, I thought, oh yeah, inhale water, drown instead of smoke :). So I didn't think much about it then, either. Well, shortly after that, my Dad (Pall Mall smoker for 50 something years) had a mild heart attack, and I decided to try to quit (I've been smoking for 36 years), but wound up sneaking them, and eventually went back to around 1/2 pad. Well, my Mom recently was diagnosed with breast cancer, so I decided that was it, time to try these things. Heard you could get tham at a gast station not far from here, and got a Jasper&Jasper disposable one ($10) and gave it try. Not as bad as I thought, it might even work. It lasted, not the 1 1/2 pack like it said, but just over a day (and that was between it and analogs), but I didn't give up. They also had a rechargeable one for $20, with 5 carts, so I got that one. That was when I finally decided to look into it a lot more. Found ECF, and did a lot of research (wish I had before the J&J). I started trying DIY (yes, with the cheap 2 drop carts that came with the J&J, lol) and decided to get something better, so I ordered a Joye 510 PCC. After a week with that, I got an eGo passthru, some dual coil cartos, and now I use it all the time, along with my 510 when I am on the go.

Had a friend suggest to me to look into E-cigs since I had been complaining of chest pains and constant hacking. Unfortunately I did not find this website till recently so I was sucked into the hype (like many) and purchased a Blu starter kit. Needless to say I was pleased with it in the beginning and it did get me off smoking analogs after 21 years. But now both batts have died. After finding this site and help from members here I will soon be vaping off my Riva.
