Tell you what I did ... best decision for me so far.

I bought 12 2oz. Boston Brown rounds with glass eyedroppers. That way I can make juice up ahead of time and let it steep for a long time.

Takes me a month-and-a-half to get through a 2oz. bottle, although I am vaping from 2 bottles at once.

That way whenever one bottle empties, I start vaping from another bottle that has had plenty of steep time. I like tobaccos and complex flavors, so this really helps. Steep it!

PS This is for me and the wife.

Same with me I like to keep one bottle in the vape cellar while I vape on the other.

My startup was very cheap. I bought a 30 ml of nicotine and a 120ml of PG and VG. Couple 15ml flavorings and a syringe. Never looked back. Think my flavoring was a RY4 and a fruit of some sort. cost me about $60 but it was enough that I knew I could do it and wanted to do it. Biggest expense is the nicotine. Forward to today I have enough nicotine to last me and the family for a few years. Jump right in as you will be amazed.

If I mix a flavor I don't care for I vape it anyways till it is gone and I stroke it off the list and don't make it again. Even the worse ones were not really that horrible that they were not vapeable.

CHEERS!

I will be placing my first DIY order with Wizard Labs tomorrow. Gonna spend around $70 only because I want to test like flavors against each other right off the bat so I'll know which I like when it comes time to re-up. And it will qualify for free shipping @ $65. Why spend money on shipping when I could be buying more flavors?! Ordered 50 10ml bottles to test flavors/mixes on eBay for $9. Have enough 30ml glass bottles for solid mixes lying around. Gonna pick up syringes and needles locally. Grabbing 500ml VG, 120ml nic base, around 20 8ml flavors from WL. And maybe a couple 120ml glass bottles if I'm feeling optimistic lol.

Since you'll have an idea what you're doing with building RDA's when it's time to DIY I recommend setting one up with a wickless coil as a tester.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Tobacco juices I don't do, but those are a bit harder and also need a lot of steeping time. I've done some fruits with mint. Spearmint + 1 fruit...again......too easy!

I only use Flavour Art and TFA/TPA (I read all Linda's notes).

Yes they are , Halo's Tribecca is very easy but other ones are a pita to me lol.

I only use FlavorArt myself for two reasons , the most important is i trust it doesn't have the nasties in it and it's top shelf flavoring. Actually i recently bought Capella's V2 flavorings because it doesn't have the bad stuff.

July 4th will be a great time to load up on flavorings etc...fantastic sales.

I bought disposable pipettes (1ml and 3ml), a sampler pack of LorAnn flavors, 240mL nic, quart of PG and quart of VG for about $80, I think. I reused all my store-bought juice bottles. Since, I've got a dozen cobalt blue 15mL and a dozen cobalt blue 30mL bottles, 2L nic, 4 Gallons of VG, 1Gal PG and a flat of 15mL TFA flavors. All told, I've prolly now spent about $500 on DIY supplies, but I shouldn't need anything more any time soon (I still have about 1/2 the 500 1mL pipettes and 3/4 the 3mL ones.)
