It all depends on which particular tank and coil setup im using. With that said, i could be vaping anywhere between 60 and 130watts, even up to 150. Example....in my bravo rta, i make my own coils that ring in at .19 to .25 ohms so ill hit these around 60 to 70 watts. If im using my tfv12 cloud king, drop in coils are usually around .14 ohm and i can take these all the way to 150 watts, but usually stay around 130 though with this. The wattatge you use will depend on whichever setup you have and your own personal happy place.

I've been vaping over 6 years. At first, I was vaping around 5 volts (variable voltage regulated mod - a Provari) with a cartotank.
About 4 years ago I began making my own coils for a RDA and experimenting with sub-ohm vaping and using a higher wattage regulated mod. 30 watts seems to have become my sweet spot for the last 3 - 4 years. Once in a blue moon I go crazy and vape near 40 watts.

Wouldn't have thought temp mode would make a difference at that low wattage. I would like to try that Replay mode tho.
I’m all over the place. I had to look at my screen to see where I am today, .18 coils at 31.2w in temp. Earlier, 1.8 coil at 10w.
I used to vape at 25-50W depending on which setup I was using. I have all of my devices set for Temp Control now and run anywhere from 125C to 220C again depending on the setup.

For me:
.15 ohm coil, Valyrian, 80 to 95 watts
.142 ohm coil, Revvo, 70 to 85 watts
.2 ohm coil, Big Baby Beast, 65 to 70 watts
.5 ohm coil, TopTank Mini, 22 watts

And then there us temp control vapers. Other than a preheat wattage to reach temp, all I care about is my temp selection of between 420-440F. The mod can sweat the figuring out the exact wattage that's needed moment to momen.
I mainly use the right watt. Sometimes, when I'm feeling froggy, I use the left one....but that's pretty rare.

You already got a bunch of info on the variable, so for a reference point, if you're an ex-smoking mouth to lung vaper:

Sounds like it's broken, or very non-optimal at either setting.
I'm all over the place. I can't get decent 0,5 0,6 fused clapton coils so if I vape very low (0.15) I can go all the way to 110W or as little as 24W for a 0,9 ohm coil. Depends on taste, liquid density and pull. If you pull harder go to higher wattage. Women take shorter puffs so we can vape at lower wattage.
I use temp control on my kf5 (the prime took a bad fall and is no longer working

I vape at about 10 1/2 watts with about a 1.6 ohm coil and approximately 3-6mg nic/ml.This, after ~45 years of smoking almost nonstop every waking hour. Vaping is soooooooooo much better than coughing up a lung every morning.
My fifth year non-smoking anniversary was July 2, 2018. I forgot to celebrate until now
