I agree the eGo is a good starter, but if I could have done it all over again, I would have saved a lot and been much more satisfied SOONER if I bit the bullet and pulled a mod right away. I loved the ego, but I grew out of it quickly.

The question is kind of difficult because there are so many variables when it comes to what people are looking for in a PV. Money, longevity of battery life, form-factor.. things like that.

Great name, btw. Is that in reference to the Radiohead song, or the actual disease?

I agree that in retrospect, we all should have started with a high-end VV PV. However for rookies or those just making the jump to PVs, a smaller and simpler PV is usually the way to go. You don't really know if vaping is going to work for you, until you try a few different combinations of mods/accessories and test it out. EGo is perfect for this, IMO.

If they MUST have something the size of a cigarette then the Volt/MaxxFusion/G6 would be my recommendation.
If they think they can deal with something the size of a sharpie, but no bigger, then the Ego Twist without question.
And if they think they can go big, then I would probably recommend a Lavatube to start with.

I will never recommend a plain Ego ever again, now that the Twist is out.

Depends on how noob the noob is. I just don't like the idea of someone spending the family fortune before they even know if they will like vaping.
A Sd Keyring is only 20 bucks, and a box of cartos about $7.50. Another $7.00 for a good juice flavor, and they at least have enough to find out if vaping is for them.
After a person has gotten their feet wet it depends on how intuitive the individual is. Many will be able to move right along with a nice PV, while others .... well .... they would be better off getting a pet rock.

    i run through 4 18350 batteries a day.

I go through at least 1 18650 bat a day on my extended LT.

Not to de-rail an otherwise productive thread, but I chain vape like a beast and my 18350's last me 2 days. I hear about you cats that run through 4ml's in 4 hours and it literally blows my mind. I use a VMax and it chews through juice so...

Idk what you guys are doing.. but I like it. :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:
