Mmmmmmmmm, sounds good. If we manage to get out of here tomorrow (snownami here for the next few days), we'll be headed to my sister-in-law's. Normal stuff - nice baked ham, cheesy potatoes, lefse (we're a bunch of Norwegians), and lots of other stuff. That's if we can get out of the driveway. If not, I'll just sit here and vape.

You all are gonna be eating turkey til the cows come home, Pawpaw! :)

Too bad you're not closer, we could have potluck. LOL

Hi Pugz!

1. The cows ARE home. There's about 60 of them just outside the fenced in yard. ;)

2. We all three love turkey and smoked turkey is just the best. :)

I'd love to have potluck! Good times with good folks. That's A-OK in my book!

I see you changed your avatar. Get tired of people asking about Fluffy? ;)

Edit: Dang! You changed it again while I was typing!!!

LOL I've got literally hundreds of Persian pictures from all the rescues we do. We work with animal control and deal with breeder "busts" and extreme neglect and abuse situations, kitty equivalent to puppy mills. I'm only showing you the pics of the ones that have been rehabilitated, wouldn't want anyone to be upset with what goes on out there in the world. Suffice it to say, I don't like Persian cat breeders these days.

I love cows, though. They're cute and I LOVE steak. :)

Wouldn't it be great if we could get a bunch of people together for a big party somehow?

Brown sugar sprial cut ham, Potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and pumpkin pie! Easy peasy. I have my son now..he made spaghetti and meatballs tonight..best meatballs ever. But he will leave tomorrow afternoon. My daughter and my G'sons will be here tomorrow evening. So we needed some food easy to eat and put away. Then I have a week of my G'sons. We will go to the movies and bake and play board games. I think they do it to entertain me..rather then the other way round.

Well, I certainly hope you're not snowed under for too long. What is lefse?

Yummy, MaryKay! I love that little candy man there, how cute is that? Sounds like you're going to have a fabulous holiday time.

This is KittyBunny, an exotic shorthair Persian who is in need of a home. Very sweet little girl. She's in foster care with our director of rescue at this time. I was going to foster her, but I ended up with a couple of others here at my place that were in danger, so I didn't get her. There are so many and they are all so cute.

How much snow are you suppose to get in the cities? We're expecting up to 18 inches with 50 mile an hour winds late tonight through Sat. Kids won't be here until Sat., I'm making ham, mashed potatoes, white gravy, peas, 2 salads, and gourmet Carmel apples from QVC for desert. (rec'd them as a gift, they are to die for)

Pugz, you were making me dizzy for a while with your switching back & forth! ;)

Yea! Let's get everyone to come to Texas and we'll reserve an entire Texas Land & Cattle restaurant! Steak soup. Steak soup. Steak soup.
My sisters daughter just moved to Texas, she lives by Dallas. I plan to visit her with my sister in 6 months. Would be fantastic to meet you both, and others here.
