I would not buy a twist or any ego because they are disposable why buy something your going to throw away when you can buy the same thing with rechargeable bats? There is no answer to your question as its a question of opinion. To many things to consider what do you like, what kind of juice, where do you use it. What kind of accessories do you intend to use. Even then if you know all of these things its still a matter of opinion. Whats the best truck I say hands down FORD lots of people will disagree for lots of different reasons its just my opinion.
You might be better off asking whats a good disposable battery , or VV rechargeable mod that has certain features you might like.

Well I can't actually remember what I Googled about e-cigs that actually led me to ECF - but  I spent a week reading all day - every day before I bought the best e-cig for me eGo Twist kit. I started with the CE4 clearomizers and then a Kanger T2 and that is just what I needed to give up a 46 year habit ;)

I still love my Twists, Spinner and even the eRoll and find I now prefer my Kanger Protank and EVODs. I have to say that if these few posts even help a few people find ECF sooner - then it is worth the posting time. :)

I'm glad I read your post, I asked a question in the 'Tanks' sub-forum, but never received a reply. A couple of days ago I was eyeballing some Kanger T2 tanks at Vaporbeast, and I'm tempted to buy them. How do they perform? Are they noob-friendly? Too airy of a draw (I hate that), too tight?? Do they leak? Inquiring minds want to know! :)

It is impossible for me to pick the best ecig for someone else. I started with Blus. I had an eGo starter kit (soon afterwards) that was the CV deal with tanks. They were great for a while, then I got sick of the leaking and other tank hassles. My next device was a eGo twist with a Kanger T2. They were the cat's meow, baby. A few months later, and I got a lavatube. It was so much better, cooler, etc. About a month later my buddy got a Vamo, and VW was the greatest thing ever, I surely had to get one. That new Vamo gave me the best device ever made!

About a month later I replaced my T2's with EVODs and BCC Megas. What a difference they made! Nothing could improve that vape...until I used an eVic. Now I have an eVic, and I am waiting on my ProTank to improve my topper. How many times in that evolution did I think I had the best device? There are good devices of all kinds. What the vaper is ready to use, juices, personality all go into the mix of deciding the 'best'. My best device is not necessarily yours.

Every product I used in my journey I could recommend, and I still use my twists most days! Happy Vaping.

Oh how to answer - in moving form the CE4 I really liked my T2. I have the ones with the longer wicks and as long as I don't let it get below I think .8ml it works very well. If I try to vape it lower it will start gurgling and eventually will leak. As for the draw - definitely not as airy as the Protank or maybe even the T3.

However, if they would have had the EVOD back then - I probably would never have tried the T2. Other than the limit on the amount of juice it holds - it is really a great juice delivery device and I would say very good for a noob.

For those that didn't bother to read the original post this is a thread designed more with search engine results in mind than what really IS "the best e-cig".

TL;DR version The hopes are that by using "the best e-cig" many times in a thread that it will push this thread, and ECF in general, higher in search engine rankings and there by steer more new people HERE rather than faked 'best ecigaretze' results by over priced vendors selling non-variable 450mah bubble packs for $50 or worse yet, more Blu and nJoy cig-a-likes, none of which will ever be on my list of 'best e-cig ever' alternatives ;)

The only complaint I have with the EVOD is you need at least 4 volts or it starts to get flooded and gurgly. If you have a constant voltage device putting out 3.7 V, it can be a hassle. So I recommend an EVOD if you have a spinner/twist type device or better. It is easy to use and a great clearo!

I'll bite to this, because I see this argument a lot.

When I first got into vaping, I enjoyed the disposability of my PV's because in my former line of work there was a high risk of me losing or breaking my unit. I'd much rather be out $30.00 for a battery, an atomizer and an adapter than be out $300.00 for a Provari, a Killer 705 and a good tank.

More recently I lost my job and my new one comes with a $12,000.00 annual pay cut, albeit with more long-term job security. So once again, I'd rather be out $30.00 for my setup than $300.00 for a good, high-end setup.

Of course, until they come out with an automatic Provari, I'm SoL on the high-end setups anyway. ;)

So the best e-cig for me is one that is cheap, reliable and automatic. So I'm perfectly satisfied with an Echo battery, a 510-808 adapter and an eGo-C atomizer.

The BEST e-cig is one that I like. If I was starting out, I would try this as my BEST E-cig kit: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

Why? Because the BEST e-cig allows you to grow and experiment, like this kit does. The Best e-cig would offer a variety of colors and battery choices. For me, the Best e-cig is 510 threaded because it would allow for many different types of delivery devices. The BEST e-cig, to start with, would also be inexpensive and reliable. The BEST e-cig would also be variable voltage. The BEST e-cig would come from a trusted vendor. I wish someone had recommended the BEST e-cig to me when I first started, because I would have avoided the Blu, which is NOT the BEST e-cig for me.

Somewhere out there
What's the best e-cigarette (aka e-cig)? That's a hard question to answer across the board. I like just about everything I've tired.

I started with a pair of ego 650mah batteries with a CE4 type clearomizer. (Ok to be honest there was a super cheap cig alike first, but that doesn't belong in a what's best thread). I'd recommend the regular egos to anyone who wants a starter kit. I'd pick regular cartomizers as the least fussy topper, but once someone gets into it, the Kanger Evod or Vision Vivi Nova perform great.

I've got a Vamo too now, I enjoy it a lot, but only at home, it's just too large for me to want to carry around everywhere. The Kanger Pro Tank works and looks great on the Vamo.

I actually think just about any battery can work out, so long as you've got a good liquid delivery device and great e-juice to go with it.

Highly subjective question...

If you asked me what is the best analog cigarette, I'd have to say Marlboro red 100's...in a box (soft packs suck), nothing else is better. Now, others would disagree with me and say what is/was their best. As many choices of cigarettes there are, that's how many opinions you'll get. If 5 people are in a room and 4 of them smoke Marlboro's, you'd be led to believe that Marlboro was undoubtedly the best.

The best e-cig is the one you enjoy.

Thanks Oktybar! I was thinking the same thing. If everyone can post about their starting experience while still using the words best e cig we can really try and help some people to not get screwed on their 1st purchase by leading them to this forum and a bunch of us real vapers telling about what truly works for us and keeps us off real cigs.

If you are reading this and you are looking to find an e cig You probably want one that looks and feels like a real cig. If you are a heavier smoker I would recommend skipping that type of e cig and trying either an ego twist or a vision spinner kit. They are sold by lots of different vendors and they have a dial on the bottom which allows you to turn the power up or down to get more or less vaper from each drag as needed. This is called variable voltage. You can go to you tube and watch real reviews from real people about any e cig and find out how it works in great detail. If you are a light smoker the one that looks like a real cig that lots of experienced vapers like is the E roll. It will be costlier to use in the long run than some other larger options but people really do feel like they are smoking a real cig when they use it. Or you can go with something the size of a small flashlight that will hold a charge for 1 to 2 days of vaping and uses replaceable batteries and a separate battery charger. If you search this forum even if you don't join you will find real (not faked to get business from people) info about everything e cig related. Thousands of us have stopped smoking by replacing real cigs with e cigs. This forum is where we share everything about it.

Great job guys! It's working:) Keep using the words best e cig in your posts if you wish you had found this forum first when searching for the best e cig in the beginning.
I just googled "best e-cig" and this ECF page Best e-cigarette came up in the fisrt page of results. Nice to see something objective among the vested-interest reviews.

the best, other than being user preference i would say it is:

the ego twist. we all know the twist, im sure more than 90% percent of us has used one or own at least one, it made quitting analogs a walk in the park, has variable voltage and its a tiny little workhorse. sure provaris are top of the line, other mods like the vamo, sigelei, box mods etc. might have more features like vw, ohms checker and what not but , the ego twist we recommend to everyone that comes our way. what do you keep as a back up? an ego, when you are going to go places and dont want to carry something big, cumbersome or everything else is charging, you take the ego.
in the world of vaping the ego twist is the equivalent of an ak-47, elegant, versatile, durable and simple. so simple even a child could use it (but lets make sure they dont, ok).

I just googled "best e-cig" and this ECF page Best e-cigarette came up in the fisrt page of results.

Great job! Let's keep it that way! The best e-cigarette is the one you like best, of course. For me, for now, it's an eGo battery with a clearomizer, and I'm still searching for the ideal clearo. I have T2s, CE7s, a Vivi Nova Mini and a T3. For utter newbies I would suggest an eGo, but if Blu is what it takes to get you off cigarettes, go for it and don't apologize.

E-cigs aren't smoking devices, they're electronic equipment. The learning curve can be steep, but the bottom line is always, Can I pick this thing up and eliminate the craving for another cigarette? Yes. You can.

I've mentioned dozen of times that my wife and I smoked a pack a day and more, for 45 years. We had both tried gum, patches, willpower, hypnosis. We discovered vaping and became ex-smokers in a single afternoon. That's the only part of the story that matters. The equipment we used, the things we discovered, the flavors we've tried, the spare parts we learned to keep handy in a box, are all incidental. We are saving about $150 per month, and I've posted in several places what that has meant to an older couple on a fixed income. We have our own place, instead of a rented room, for the first time in three years. I realize that not everyone's results will be so dramatic. But this is what vaping has meant to us, and this is what every prospective cigarette-quitter should realize: The results of quitting will spread through your life like ripples in a pond. It almost doesn't matter where you start. Just do it.

Just to help the best ecig in my opinion is my evic with a protank

I'll agree with this and add my vision vivi nova to the mix. I like using my vivi nova for flavors that compliment a warm vapor and my protank for flavors that compliment a cooler vapor. I like a warm tobacco flavored vape and cool fruit flavored vape for example.

With that in mind...

I would actually say the best ecig is a battery that fits your needs and a delivery method that suits your taste and needs. Do you need something small? Something that will last all day? Then there is always the question of budget to take into account. And let's not forget about juice. Even the best of setups need a juice that tastes good to you. So really the best ecig is gonna be different for everyone.
