What's the Lowest Ohm Build You Have Put on Your Reo?

Can I ask you guys how long one battery is lasting you guys with these low ohm builds? I'm running my Odin at .49 ohm with dual 28g 6 wrap coils and I'm on my third AW IMR 18650 2000mah today. Does this sound typical? I know the lower ohm builds drain batteries faster but I'm wondering what's typical.

I go through 2 1600mah bats per day, minimum, running .5ohm duals. That's part-time use (I use a few reos in rotation in a typical day).

So, not knowing how much you vape throughout the day, it's not to be unexpected - low ohm duals drain a lot.

Those 2000 mah AWs are crap on subohm coils, the 1600 mah AWs are way better for subohming. The 2000 mah batteries only have a 10 amp continuous rating and have a lot more voltage sag. That being said you will get significantly less vape time with these lower ohm builds.

Switch to Samsung 25R's for that low a build. Your batteries will last much longer. Also another good one is the XTAR. Those are the same cells as Sony VCT5 and VCT4. I don't run that low so I just use 20A cells.

i manage 2 wives every 10 years, they start out rated at 30A, but deteriorate quickly. Voltage sag, yeah, that's it.

i run 0.3Ω coils and use 2 batteries a day and more at weekends, hence the wife situation. I only run 30A wives because there's nothing worse than one that runs out when you're at work.

i ought to have known better than to get them at Stepford and co.

Get some 30A wives and save yourself a lot of grief.

I just got my 1600 mah's so will be trying those out starting tomorrow. I'll save my 2000's for higher ohm builds, thanks!

Well..I can say I chain vape most of the day. Like I said my engine is a single coil .8 ohm and I've been using Efest 20A cells. One lasts most of the day with that sort of build but I typically change it out when it reached 3.2V. So yeah 2 cells a day even with that build.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm gonna go battery window shopping and check those out. I get nervous though and worry that I might end up with fakes or mislabeled batteries. Hence my only buying AW IMR's from RTD so far.

if you are set on the AW's, then get the 1600mAh ones from RTD.

They are and have been for some years the recommended batteries for Grands.

I change my batt once a day with my .41 ohm. I try to use my VTC5s when ever I can, but I have the samsung 25R, the HE2, and the aw 1600. The Sony's give me the best performance.

Get rid of those aw 2000's, or at least just use them for high ohm builds, but even then the 1600s will last longer. It sounds counterintuitive, but the 1600 holds more charge from 4.2 - 3.5ish and we change our batts before it reaches there.

Thanks Papa and Slappy, ended up buying some of that Cloud Chasers Off Road flattened twisted 24g. Anybody else use that stuff? Seems like it will be great for some deep sub ohm single coils.
