I believe it to be some sort of jumper as well. The good news is that for the most part the hairy spiders of the US are harmless. The spindly brown spider that it looks to be eating, however, might be a little more toxic to peoples.

hahaha it wasn't me getting close to this creepy lil thing! this one was all isaac... as far as getting a good picture... we've got a good camera and then zoomed it in on the computer

Awesome detective work! My mom actually stumbled on to this piece in gold and was very excited to learn what it meant. Too bad she has no clue how to use a computer! lol

no we didn't kill him... but this morning i found one of these crawling on the computer desk!! i grabbed a coffee mug and a piece of paper that was lying around and trapped him in it... showed it to the in-laws and they suggested to flush it... so i took him to the bathroom threw it in the toilet and flushed... the damn thing jumped like 3 times and just sat on the edge of the bowl... i about lost it!!! i was scared and laughing at the same time... so the F-I-L came up and pushed it back in and flushed and it went down. but now i'm scared to use the bathroom... b/c it might come back and get me!!!

I think you and I should grab our loved ones and go live in a biodome where there aren't any of these ferocious monsters (at least there won't be any in our biodome!). All you have to do is assure me that Cyrus won't eat my fur babies!!!
