I'd like to see an e-juice cart that operates without batting of any kind. Just the juice. That would make life easier for everyone.

What about a setup like this:

The cartridge is a small juice bottle with a jetted orifice at the bottom. An o-ring sealed cap with a built-in air relief valve unscrews for refilling with a controlled viscosity liquid.

The PV's switch and an air flow valve are controlled by the same button.

The PV user would first take a "primer puff" which would create low pressure in the sealed atomizer chamber, causing a drop of liquid to be released onto the coil.

The user would then depress the button to take a normal drag, activating the coil and allowing air to flow into the atomizer chamber.

I liken where we are with the PV to the "ball and powder" era in personal firearms. Cartridges, filler, atties, liquid..... ball and powder.

Cartomizers are supposed to be the step toward bullet cartridges as we know them today.... there just not there as far as the performance is concerned (in my opinion... there will certainly be those who disagree).

Certainly lots of interesting things to come.

Good analogy. It's almost a cliche that battery technology lags. I know with my plunge into solar energy tech back in the early 80's is that the storage in terms of batteries was a problem and frankly, not all that much has changed from the little that I still peak at in that area. So I'm guessing that there won't be much advancement in that area, other than perhaps more mods that use the bigger batteries which make, without overstating it, a big difference in the performance of all other parts of the device. They 'push' the limits of the attys and carts so that is where the focus will be, imho and with attys being somewhat durable except under extreme power, that pretty much means that carts/cart mods will get much attention. And I'm really interested in the one you made up, just not the time to understand it fully and pursue it. I should quit this board. I'd get more done. But then I wouldn't know about your cart ;-)

Love to see non -deydrating cut(pg or vp).Know more additives are not always good but something to humidify the throat while I vape, would be Christmas morning anyday.

Just found this thread, and I agree with your wish, too. We have PG, VG and PEG (whoever uses that), but they're all so drying and harsh for many people. I hope some genius finds a way to create e-juice that is kinder to our mouths and throats. Less dryness would probably be a whole lot better for oral hygiene, too.

I wonder if there are alternatives to PG, VG and PEG?

I wonder if there is a fine enough cooking mesh that can keep liquid sugar(but not e-juice) from passing through its screen. If there were a mesh capable of that, theoretically, couldn't one simply cut juice throughout liquid sugar, let it condense into a slug/pill, pop that into the blank cart(toss a fitted screen in to catch the sugar residue) and vape safely until the slug/pill was gone?
