I've done a few stupid things. Not being careful when clipping kanthal and finding it in the carpet later with my bare feet. Flipping the tank part of an atty (Pontus, Taifun GT) to screw it on to the base (instead of flipping the base to screw it on to the tank) so juice spills out all over my lap (thank goodness I was at home when this happened). But I think I topped myself this morning on my way to work. I took a monster hit while I was driving and could not see where I was going during the exhale. I could not even see the ends of my arms. I'm done trying to make my car look like an old fashioned steam train.

I have to post this because I just did it for the second time in 6 months. My protank was almost empty so I filled it back up, with the WRONG juice. Uggh! I have 2 tanks with juices that I go back and forth between all day. Now they both have the same juice except one is mixed with a bit of my other ADV.

I swear, I gotta break down and get a labeler or something...too many times I've done that.

For most of mine, I use those teeny colored rubber bands. I put matching colors around the juice bottle and the tank for it. I say most because I didn't put the bands back on these two after their last washing.

Got another one.

Put a new build on my Kayfun.
Re-assemble and turn it upside down to bottom-fill.
Squeeze (plastic 15ml bottle) - juice flows, but level not rising.

Hmmm.
Squeeze harder - again juice flows and tank still not filling up.

What the...

Suddenly notice my "lap area" feels wet.
About 10mls of juice in my lap making me feel sad (and sticky)!

Helps to assemble your Kayfun With the chimney cap in place. :p
I did something similar...disassembled kayfun plus for cleaning, intended to bottom fill, screwed it on the mod and proceeded to top fill. I thought it was leaking from the airflow hole for about five minutes...then noticed the bottom fill screw sitting on the counter.
I had to rinse out the mod and wipe down the battery, but luckily I avoided getting juice in my lap.

Modern smoke detectors detect airborne particles by shining light at a sensor and measuring the amount of light that makes it through the air. The old smoke detectors actually had a small radioactive component, but only detected actual smoke. With the new type, you can sneeze at them and set them off in the right conditions. If the light is dimmed too much, the alarm goes off.

Pretty sure it was me. Ours detect anything that interferes with the sensors. Steam from my shower has triggered mine at home.

I've heard of heat triggering a smoke alarm that is heat sensitive, but this is the first time I've heard of vapor setting off a smoke detector. King of frightening.

well i kissed another coil... gah.. thats the second time now.. and there have been a few 'near misses/kisses'. this weekend was my gf's sons bday, and we got him a wii u, which he had been dying for... well we were playing mariokart 8 (best MK ive played fwiw) and in my rush to drip in between rounds i didnt put the top back on my trusty igo-w. and my bottom lip kissed a .45 coil. fun times. my bottom lip still hurts. it was ok.. but if you do kiss a coil, my advice is to make that the only kissy behavior you do. not trying to get into tmi, but my gf was suprised when i yelped from a smooch. lol..

I was in a studio the other day that had a lot of very expensive equipment in it. During a break in the session i decided that I'd sneak a few hits off of my Reo. The engineer saw me and came barreling out of the control room saying "please don't do that in here!". I said, "Oh, sorry, vapor bad for the equipment?" His reply, "Probably, but you're standing under an emergency fire sprinkler nozzle!". Opps...so much for sneak vaping in the studio! Another really stupid thing i did was cleaning out the excess joose out of a Russian 91. Turned it upside down and blew into it which works great. Only problem was that I forgot to cover the air hole and it was pointed directly at my eye....Take my advice, DO NOT forget to cover the air hole and always point it away from your eyes. I've never had a hot poker stuck into my eye but I've a feeling it can't feel much worse. Thank God for Visine!

Those sprinklers are heat sensitive only. They have a small glass vial with some kind of liquid inside and when the liquid is heated it breaks the vial which unseals the water outlet and it starts spraying. You could cloud chase for days, blowing directly into it and never set those off. Just don't smack it with your mod because that would do it too.

Read through another "how many wraps do I need for a 0.01 ohm coil" thread.
Come on... Everybody knows that all you need is a metal bar across the poles... 0.001 Ohms and one hell of a drag before the battery goes off in your face :D
