I agree TV....When it becomes "Reality" in your own home it's time to move on to a different show...Perhaps "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?(at least no one will get hurt physically..LOL)I have a 16 year old son who is getting close to my size and I am 6'1" 230....We do not wrestle anymore!!:)The Wiz!
We're doing the "Are you smarter..", now. I'm still losing to my 3rd grader . We (my wife) have homeschooled for years, but I'm just the shop teacher and first aid nurse.

General White in my mouth right now. You know TV everytime I think I know you you show me something different.
Oh a2d, my life has been like a novel. The stories I could tell about my wild west days.....lost some good friends, thankful for the memories, but happy it's over. Shocking, but true sorta stuff. On the other side of the coin I delivered my last 2 kids at home (my wife helped, though). That's the most important thing I've ever done and what I'm most proud of :). Not bad for biker trash.

'Nuther Frosted mini and cup o joe.

Well, I'm waking to up to Discreet Cool Mint.

I've got a thought I'm playing around with. It seems unless snus is mint or a Discreet flavor - my freezer is starting to overflow with little round tins that I just can't find that level of tolarance. :D ...and I hate wasting the money.

I've order some of Tasy Vapor's Doublers (PG & flavor only, no nicotine) - I know it's for cutting e-liquid strength, but I'm going to play around with a few drops here and there, maybe wrap in saran and let sit awhile. I'm sort of thinking, this just might help.

Or maybe it's wishful thinking to have a nice cafe mocha that tastes like it in snus or something on the vanilla side...and that list could go on and on;)

If anyone tried it, sorry, I missed your posts.

Any thoughts?

I've looked and looked for coffee flavored snus. As have others from what I gather. The only two I'm aware of are Moccas Macchiato and Offroads Coffee/Vanilla

I completely love the Macchiato even though it's a mini with 4mg/portion and it tastes more of caramel than coffee but..... turns out it was a "Limited" edition and is no longer in production. Damn. I've 2 full tins in the freezer and the last 1 in stock coming from a vendor that saw me whining on another forum.

The Offroad Coffee/Vanilla is yet again a limited edition flavor. Production stopped on it a while back but it has been started again. Northerner is the only vendor I've seen carrying it again. Not tried it but the user reviews seem mixed at 50/50 love/hate.

As for the flavoring of snus I have some OffRoad Cranberry portions packed in fresh ground Arabica beans. They hint at coffee after a few days but taste more of chocolate than anything else. That was a surprise.

Common flavoring methods I've read of involve misting the snus with your liquid flavoring of choice, sealing and leaving to sit in the fridge. I'm going to try this with brewed coffee soon in my search for coffee flavored snus.

I'd think that the flavor doublers would be well worth trying sunset. The one caution I've seen time and again is don't make them too wet. Make a point of reporting how well it works!!

OTD, I think you just hit on something:) Reading your post about coffee - I had a half cup of instant folgers sitting beside me and threw in a General White.

General White is another one I have trouble with and when I tried it last night, I had to quit.

Anyway, I let it sit, 5 minutes or so... I can be impatient and then drank the coffee. The coffee didn't seem to change that much, but when I tried the General White, only briefly did it have that strong taste that I don't like and it's so much more mellow - good. Yet, it doesn't have a coffee flavor, which is OK as long as it doesn't taste like it did before.:D

This I'd like to give another try, maybe a full cup of coffee and hotter.

And the bottom line is I don't think we're missing anything from the snus, I either drank it or some is still in the pouch.

Thanks again, that was an interesting experiment that I'm going to remember and I got good results.

No snus for now, enjoying hefty pinch of WoS Lemon Grove

hehe
Dunkin' Portions :D

Well that would definitely be on the wet side of "misting" the portion lol!

Also, you mentioned you like the mint flavors. My all day every day go to snus is the General Wintergreen. Luvit luvit luvit.

Regardless the brand, I too have problems with White portions. Too dry, generally irritate my inner lip/gum. So for the White portions I do have I simply work up a good bit of saliva when I first put them in my mouth so as to get them good and wet. I also drink coffee all day long and rewetting a snus in my mouth with a sip of coffee is almost a habit anymore.

And for the "curious" side of things, the General Wintergreen is supposed to be a White portion. It is the by far the moistest white I've used.

I'm with you all the way on the General White. I think that will become my favorite so far, the Thunder Frosted Mini's come in second.

And dry mouth, I have cronic dry mouth. I think everyone of my daily meds have the side effect of dry mouth. I wonder if drinking beverages while snus use diminishes the effectiveness of the nic? The liquid along with some snus juice goes into the stomach.

Trempealeau, WI.
Just took the xmas tree down, and put away the other stuff.
Time to relax with my Wow coffee bite, mixed with a pinch of Dholakia Swiss Chocolate.

Ran out of snus. General white wintergreen is my favorite also. I used to dip Grizzly Wintergreen... strong stuff.
Bought some of the Copenhagen wintergreen the other day. Not bad. I was surprised at how "light" it was. No dark black spit like regular Copenhagen. Not too bad for swallowing (while at work).

Gotta save money for another snus purchase. Wife isn't working... she slipped on the ice couple weeks back and broke both bones in her right ankle.

a2d, Now that is an interesting question..."I wonder if drinking beverages while snus use diminishes the effectiveness of the nic? The liquid along with some snus juice goes into the stomach."

But, since I vape at the same time - I'm sure in my case I didn't lose anything with nic and,all in all, it felt as satisfying as without drinking anything. And in this case, since it was a General White...more satisfying not tasting it's full flavor.:D

But, interesting to think about...hmmm, I wonder because it didn't seem so to me.

OTD," And for the "curious" side of things, the General Wintergreen is supposed to be a White portion." I can see that, yet it's pretty good.

Caesarea, "There's no law says the flavour has to come exclusively from the snus or from the vape either!" LOL, well, I'm trying since I've bought so many cans in the search for
something that I like. Well, I overdid it and now I want to salvage a few if possible.

Reading OTD's posts, he sure has come up with some interesting ideas. Keep them coming ;)

I find I am happy to use my favourite coffees while snussing - strong teas are also gonna add to the blend of flavours. I'd use candy too, except I'm not as fond of candy as I am of coffee!

I'm with you, C. When I'm using the 02 a cup of strong black coffee seems a match made in Heaven :).

As long as it works, sunset, that's the main thing. And if it makes the General White portions more tolerable it's a good idea :). Another thought on the mint flavor, Vaporer added some menthal crystals to a can of white portions (he's a true menthol lover) and sealed it up for a day. He reported a very good menthol flavor afterwards. Just a thought. It may work with other flavors, too, depending on how strong the flavoring is.
