There's no law says the flavour has to come exclusively from the snus or from the vape either!

And if there was we would all break it!
Doesn't seem to be any conflict in flavors either. I mean, the snuff of the moment doesn't interfere with whatever snus I may have going. I've yet to drink anything that didn't go along with the snus of the moment.

...I wonder if drinking beverages while snus use diminishes the effectiveness of the nic? The liquid along with some snus juice goes into the stomach.

I don't see why it would.
Don't know if stomach acids neutralize nicotine but as long as they don't it's going to be taken up into the bloodstream eventually.

Ran out of snus. General white wintergreen is my favorite also...

Gotta save money for another snus purchase. Wife isn't working... she slipped on the ice couple weeks back and broke both bones in her right ankle.

Aw, great minds and so on Closet T. I took a great pinch of the Swiss Chocolate as I opened this thread just now. Here's another, IMO, really good mix with the Swiss Chocolate, WoS Lemon Grove. As it's so much drier, I do the Lemon Grove after the Chocolate, yum!

Actually, I can't remember how big they were. I tried 2 of the Camel's and gave the rest of the tin to a coworker..... Best I can do ya right now is compare a 02 portion to a Frosted mini portion: The mini is 10mm wide, the 02 is 12mm wide; the mini is 22mm long, the 02 is 28mm long; both are 4mm thick (the length doesn't include the sealing seams at the ends, but both are the same,also). This is all I have with me today, but I know the 02 is a fair amount slimmer than than the width of a General White portion. Hope that help a little. Fit wise, there seems to be a big difference from the regular size. Much more comfy for me .

I'd heard they were longer and thinner than other regular portions. Between you and Stubby I'm thinking the 01 is something I'm going to want to try.

Another thought on the mint flavor, Vaporer added some menthal crystals to a can of white portions (he's a true menthol lover) and sealed it up for a day. He reported a very good menthol flavor afterwards. Just a thought. It may work with other flavors, too, depending on how strong the flavoring is.

I'm still having a love affair with my Swedish Match Lab Series 02 and Thunder Frosted Mini portions. Keep us posted on your progress, this stuff sure takes up the slack.......and then some .

I cut the snuff recently as I look forward to being tested by my state BlueCrossBlue Shield insurance in February (my one year no-tobacco anniversary). If the .......s do not reduce my premiums, I will be snuffing the living crap out of my nose. Of course, over the 270 year life span of Wilson's of Sharrow history, there have been zero lawsuits due to health complications. This is comforting as a nicotine addict moving forward. At liest I have left behind incindiary tobacco use.

Hey OTD, I think you ought to throw in a can with your next order. I think most would like it, taste wise, but the taste isn't as powerful as the snus you normally use. It's perfect for me, but you might find it a little bland. I would also highly recommend throwing in a can of the Frosted mini's if you like spearmint gum. Here again, the flavor isn't potent, but never goes away. The only way I can tell it's been had is when I start getting a bit of a bitter flavor from it. Not to mention you can use a 8mg portion without crowding the new chomper/swollen gum.

And to all, at risk of being booted from the Snus Club You know how strawberry Discreet can seem a bit off at times or it does to me-sometimes good or it's not. So my final for the evening was a strawberry Discreet in my Pepsi. The Pepsi was really good and I'm really surprised how much strawberry flavor was still left in the pouch... a lot.

I beginning to enjoy this exploring different flavors this way and it doesn't seem to change the snus effect at all, but levels out the flavors. I could do this again.

Who knows, maybe you'll end up being the Tropical Bob of home snus flavoring . It could also help make it more appealing to the women folk who find it difficult to stay off the smokes with vaping, but don't see snus as an alternative . Keep us informed on your recipes. Maybe if you come up with some winners you could start a thread here similar to the one for e-liquids.

A fellow snuffer eh chef? Of the paltry 20+ snuffs I've tried so far, just barely scratching the surface I know, large number are WoS. Nice snuff, there's a reason for the company's longevity.

Nope, I havn't tried the Onyx, too spendy for me. when I want the sterk I'm staying with the N&J Black. My main thought about the 01 is the comments that it is a mild flavor. Thought it might be a good candidate for custom flavoring.

What type of schedule/balance are you guys looking at?

As long as I stay primarily at 8mg portions and always have a snus available, I haven't had any issues with cravings or such.
