Good morning. Stubby that's kinda what I figured too. I don't mean to keep whining about it but it seems like most of the old timers have disappeared on us.

Gutter don't you worry at all about riding that late/ early by yourself?

Evening all, TV does seem to have disappeared again. I'm starting to feel like one of the old timers now. So many new faces since I found this place and those that got me here are all gone. I miss TV's humor.

Not much to say, weather broke so the windows are again open and next week sounds fairly normal for a hot spring.

At least it doesm't feel like August anymore.

naaah - we live in what amounts to mayberry.

we finally got some rain just now and it seems there's a nice cold front behind it. hopefully it will cool down for the next little while.

nothing to add - watching the tube and enjoying some offroad frosted and cold water.

Morning all. Anyone see that Oden's Extreme? 22mg snus sure sounds like immediate niccups to me. I actually like the Oden's ES, but I don't think I'll go there with the extreme. I am trying to find a deal on General Mint. I've decided that I just can't live without a stash of that stuff. I'm doing a couple portions of it a day these days, it's my go to after being on a more tobacco flavored snus.

Hey Gutter, my house in Va. is only a little over 20 miles from Mayberry (well, Mt Airy, NC, surprised they never changed their name).

Good morning. Roth I did see that odens. I don't think I want to try it. I have liked the general mint since it came out and wish it was a little cheaper. It's still cheaper than a pack of smokes. However the low cost of the thunder usually helps to balance out the cost per can.

We went to the neighbours annual bbq last night. I actually had a few beers. His son and a friend played some music that I didn't recognize but think it was country. It was kind of like a block party type thing. Friends of his loan him a big competition style smoker and tables and chairs. It was a good time.

Hitt, I totally agree. I just priced Mint at Northern. $42/roll. Frank must be insane. Snus Central is $8/roll cheaper. I'm really tempted to put in a big order to take advantage of shipping but I really don't need a big order. They also have Onyx on sale which is what got me thinking. Northern is $17/roll more expensive than the sale price. I suppose Northern isn't really interested in selling product anymore. I don't get it, does he think he has a captive audience?

I wasn't happy with the hangup I got in customs by the FDA last time, but I have no urgency on the order, just as long as it gets here.

Good morning. I have yet to have any problems getting orders from snuscentral. I do feel your pain though about having to put an order together to help cover the shipping. Usually it's not a big deal but once in a while it would be nice to be able to put in an order for just a roll of something without feeling the guilt of the big shipping charge. It sure was nice back when getsnus would ship an order for $5 and orders over $50 were free shipping. PACT sucks.

Any recommended snus that anyone is loving these days? Which of the offroads are good? Just shopping.....

    roth -
the offroad frosted, coola, eucalyptus and mini mint are good.everything else from them seems to vary from just ok to terrible.
the last order we got was from snuscentral and there was enough of a price differential in two rolls to offset the shipping costs.it does seem as though northerner has given up trying to be competitive lately - makes you wonder what they are thinking.

i rode for right around 3 hours yesterday and woke up beat today :)

Evening. Dew point under 50, temp mid 70's, I went to heaven. However, it was the day from hell. Before I hopped on the bike phone rang, mom. Toilet overflowed for the second time in three weeks. Off for cleanup and questions. Plunged fine so I figured she must have had a blockage so called the plumber. Nope, septic tank issue. so called them. Like poker, a royal flush is better than a full house. The backup at the thrift store was as bad as my mom's plumbing. I took the hand truck to three crates of books and I thought I was going to break the hand truck. Got it up but an hour or so later I realized there was a muscle in my back that didn't like the lift. Fortunately, five hours later Dr. Scotch made me forget the pain.

Oh, failed to mention, in conversations with mom, her TV wasn't working. Tried to troubleshoot over the phone but realized she was going to have to do without till I checked it out. By the time I get to her house I realized she had plugged the cord from the power strip into the power strip (wonder why it didn't work). Also she wasn't wearing her monitor and the monitor base unit was unplugged. I'd swear she was driving me crazy had I not known she couldn't think that far.

My sister's mother in-law passed yesterday which my mother's reaction was, "Maybe I'm next". Why is everyone trying to keep us alive so long. Starting to think, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Good, got that out.

Back to snus. Yes, Frank is trying desperately to lose all his loyal customers and I think I may have been the only one on this forum. Northern, for me, was fine until lately. When two rolls are going to cost me $25 more than from Sweden you have to wonder where he's coming from. I thought I had two rolls of Mint until I checked this morning. I only have six cans left. I forgot that the Mint was a sub for White when they were out. I NEED TO buy MORE!

I was the only person on here that had an issue with customs and the FDA. It might have been a one off, or Phila. customs might be the issue OR.......should I be concerned about those helicopters flying over my house?

My head is still spinning from vapestock LOL I did not sleep all weekend. In fact I only crashed this morning at about 7 am (give or take) for a few hours and now I am back awake lol! Got some chores done earlier and a shower so I am happy lol.

I made a discovery at Vapestock though! I actually belong here more than I thought. One of my new friends gave me a packet of peppermint SNUS to try (he is a vaper/SNUSer who needs the other alkaloids too) and I gotta admit it was amazing! I think the reason I didn't give up the cigs right away was because I needed more than the nic. Don't get me wrong I LOVE vaping, but I grabbed a tin of SNUS Winterchill on my way home.

It was Sunday afternoon, and the SNUS made me feel better. It was like... Well I do not know how to describe it, but I did feel something was missing, but I had no idea what. Now I know (and knowing is half the battle.... GI Joe!!!) I still plan to vape up a storm, but I have found something else that I need to include. Thing is though, I am a total noob at this. I had only ever tried SNUS before a few years ago when I was a smoker. Maybe you guys can advise me. It is cheaper than cigs, especially if I only use 1 or 2 pouches a day, I am sure I will be happier and it will not take up a lot of my budget. I finally, truly understand what you all were saying about the other alkaloids. (I knew it was true, and I understood the mechanism of the phenomenon, but now I have felt it myself! :) )

Oh and can someone explain to me what you guys mean with what you type at the end of your messages? Well I am done rambling now lol gonna pop a packet of SNUS and get caught up on my forum subs. <3 you guys!!!!

    Roth,
it seems everytime i've ordered from northerer, there has been some kind of issue. They've always made it right, but it still seems like they just have waay too many incidences.I would still order with them if they had some kind of positive aspect to their business but, when it's more expensive, takes longer and they screw somethng up - it just makes them a dealbreaker for me.

    Kitty,
the stuff we write at the end of our posts is what snus/snuff we have under our lip/in our nose at the time. For example right now i've got:
offroad frosted snus ( under my lip)
    and drinking H20

I'm glad to hear you've discovered snus. alot of us around these parts were absolutely crazy without it and for a few of us (myself included), snus not only makes us fairly normal but, did way with the desire to smoke. For me, those alkaloids were the dividing line between antidepressants or smoking and without 'em, i'd be in the nuthouse.
There's plenty of folks here that can steer you in the right direction and there's a whole world of reduced harm tobacco products for you to explore.

Good evening. Roth that's not a good sign if the helicopters have left TV's house and are now hovering over yours. I wonder if they found his snus stash.

Kitty, for me it was like I was standing in the dark and someone turned on a light the first time I tried snus. I tried quitting with vaping alone and was driving myself into depression until I found snus.

Gutter I was a big Getsnus/Northerner fan. I have a bunch of points over there and am probably only a roll or two away from getting a free roll if they ever offer anything I like. Even with that I still haven't been motivated to order from them.

On a different subject, my toro mower has been making a funny noise the last couple times I've mowed so yesterday I finally decided to change the belt and see if that helped. It didn't. I dug a little deeper and found that the gears on the little transmission were about half stripped so I had to order a transmission for it. It doesn't look like it's going to be much fun to replace.

    Hey all!

Congrats kitty on the snus enlightenment!

Hitt, at least you are able to replace that stuff yourself. I'm really good at pointing out problems, but no good at all at fixing them (well, mechanical ones anyway)

Speaking of things mechanical... My Volkswagon is wonkier than usual lately. Since early winter a few minutes after I start driving it a little red warning in the dash comes on that says "airbag fault". For some reason, I found this funny, like someone who blames their fart on someone else. I just say, "it's not teh airbag's fault!) and keep on driving. So far no airbags have randomly exploded in my face so I call it good. Then last week I was driving along, the car had already established that it was the airbag's fault, and suddenly the dash thingie said in big capitol red letters "STOP". I've never had a car 'say' that to me before. Of course I kept driving. Then is said "service manual" and I thought, "well, I'm certainly not gonna service the dang manual"!! Then it said, "brake fault", and I thought, "well, good, at least it is spreading the blame around. The airbags were probably starting to feel quite picked on". Then my abs light came on. Um...the car still stops just fine so I'm still driving it. I'm guessing since it is an 11 year old computer and I don't know of any computer that works well for that long, it is probably just the computer being a hypochondriac. Thoughts, anyone??

I got 3 miles of interval training in with my kids tonight!

    Anyway
