Tried a Discreet Cool Mint tonight - oh blimey, another stinging nettle. 
There must be some of that wintergreen stuff in there too!
It's about 7mg, so maybe it delivered something in the ten seconds it spent under my lip!
Anyone know for sure if it has wintergreen in it?

I would think that no there is no wintergreen in the snus. They actually make a flavor called "emerald ice" which is comparable to wintergreen. The flavor you tried is more like a menthol flavor. I could be wrong but that is what I understand that to be.

Yea I have also got some Emerald Ice - which I had better give to a friend, 'cos I had huge trouble with burning from General Wintergreen - felt like I had coated my nose and throat in undiluted disinfectant.
I love General Minimints and they cause me no pain at all. So I thought Discreet Cool Mint would be similar. I could never smoke menthol either, or use some brands of mouthwash. I guess I may be allergic to menthol then.
I have also bought three more Discreets: Peach and Strawberry which are OK. And Original - dunno what that will be like. Will fall delightedly on the other trial fruit flavours Wiz mentioned if they are ever put on the market.
However! I know I like Göteborg Râpé 01 and 02 and the Minimints - just trying to broaden the range a bit!

Ok, made it back in one piece. Good afternoon all . You're right, Wiz, I might make that my signature, does seem fitting. C, I agree completely, the research studies have been done here and there, but we're left to uncover the cause of our ills on our own. Quit or die is all they give us. Amazing how we fall apart when we stop smoking. I know a lot of people have successfully quit and went on to more fruitful lives. I'm sure not one of them, I need something additional to function in society or even just to have the drive to get out of bed and face another day. I don't know why these findings are a secret. Sure would be nice if I didn't have to explain myself in a Psychology 101 format everytime someone asks "How's the smoking thing goin'?". By the way, The Thunder Frosted mini's that I love so much are spearmint and they, also, have a bit of a sting when they first go in.

It got covered up very quickly in that high-traffic area, so unless Hellen makes an appearance and draws some attention, I guess we'll have to wait and see if Alex shows up here.
Boss had me doing some work and has more for me........dang , I hate being told what to do. I'll cater to him this time, but I'm gonna have to put my foot down if this keeps up.

C., the wintergreen doesn't really bother me... all the mints burn a bit when I put them in. I take it that this is common? Went away after a bit, and I've always tolerated pain well, ha. Worth it for the after effects. Taste is pretty great on all the mint/menthol/peppermint so far as well. I'm sure I'll add several cans of the mini mint for sure. I should take notes on what I like/don't as I'm using it so I don't go order crazy ordering.
I still have yet to try the Discreet Cool Mint and Full Flavor and then there is the Skruf Cranberry (I opened it, and hope it tastes better than it smells, yikes!). I really want some coffee or chocolate/caramel flavors for snus!!!
The vanilla OTD talked about sounds good too. Maybe I'll traipse over to some of the other sites to see what the offerings are (since I can't get Macchiato anywhere, sob!).

I think I will forget the wintergreen - but maybe the Cool Mint will be easier to tolerate when the sinusitis has gone. I can live without pain! Got ten cans of Minimints coming soon. Same here I'd like to find a really good coffee snus. I quite liked the Mocca macchiato, once I had it wrapped in an extra layer of teabag material and with a large mug of coffee to hand!
