What's up with my 510?

So If I drip a couple of drops on my atty and top off my cart, I get a great hit or two or three. After a few drags though, the vapor production drops way off. What is the deal? Is this a problem with the filler and thus all of the various mods out there? Right now, I can hardy vape like I am having a real smoking experience. A few drags then, weak vapor and an atty that is getting hot for lack of juice.

Can someone post a link to the Blue Foam method?

Is there a better option for a device that you can have a better vaping experience with? I have a 901 too, but it never has matched the vapor production of the 510.

i've seen the same thing happen if i drip more than two drops AND top off the cart. i think when it gets warm the liquid thins a bit and floods the atty. i can usually drip three drops no problem if i don't have any poly in the cart. however, if i top off the cart i only drip maybe one depending how much i soaked the poly.

long story short: your atty is flooded and you need to dry it out. either keep vaping until it gets better or blow it out a little bit.

Blow out the flooded atty with a balloon........by far the best way to get it done without blowing, blowing, blowing.

Just go to the Cat Mod section of the Modders Sub-Forum. Blue Foam Mod is usually near the top of the page considering it is one of the more popular mods.

I think you are flooding the atty. Blow it out a few times and try again.

For a cart mod try Kristin's scotch brite pad and straw but use Fluval instead of the pad.

Really? Flooded? OK, I blew out the cart. Shoved a paper towel in the end and blew a few times. Topped of the cart. Low production and hot atty. Still flooded? BTW atty is 2 days old. It should be in fine shape except for me flooding it out...

I'm guessing not flooding. I think you are just experiencing why there are so many cart mods.
There is one called something like the dart that uses blue foam. People seem to like it.
