Gee, something must be wrong. I have 2 650mAh eGos, 1 1000mAh eGo and 2 1000mAh eGo Twists all over a year old. They get used regularly (I PIF'd most of them) and none have shorted or had any other problems. I know I drank the Kool-Aid and paid too much to US vendors for authentic Joyetech. I wonder if I should write to them and complain that mine aren't performing like everyone else's?

Both of mine were genuine and bought in the US and each lasted for 4 months.

Right now my Fast Tech kid has been reprogrammed. Anytime Johnny V yells, "Holy #$@#(*&@#&!" Fast Tech kid yells, "Holy #$(@&*(@#&!"

Oh and she asks for poop tarts all the time. Where did the original box go? I have to send this one back. Oh heck, I'll just send her to Zappos, they'll replace anything for free.

The best device is the one you enjoy using for whatever reason. Price is not important. The Provari is worth what anyone is willing to pay for it. That's trulyAmerican. Charge what the market bears to make a profit. Pay the price you are willing to pay. The price is Irrelevant if people are willing to pay for the price asked. Obviously people buy them and the company is happy with what it charges.

Put her up on the classifieds.

And I'm not going to comment on where the original box went - I'll get banned!!

Walks in after making a new wick and wrapping some coils. Do I like my Provari? Yes, Do I like my Z-Atty? Yes

Would I suggest it to friends starting out? Heck no, I'll get them set up with an Ego unit like I did a year ago and let them decide where to go from there. Do I regret buying a Provari? No, it's reliable and solid. Is it light? About the same heft as my 3 year old daughter. I only pick it up for extended sessions when needed.

Should everyone buy a Provari? Nah, unless you know you're going to be burning through more batteries than the average bear and it will become your only device with exception of replacing batteries every so often.

Is my Z-Atty as good as a carto tank, vivi nova or other atomizer? It remains to be seen but I waste less juice and don't have to worry about DOA's as a way of life. Now I just live with an occasional E1 or E8 error. Or as dsylexic Johnny V might say...13 or 83 error.

I'm not a fan girl but I like my devices and my Provari and Z-Atty have been going strong for months without problems. That's what I like...no problems.

This is exactly my take on the whole thing. I personally love my Provari and Z-Atty. I have offered to buy one for the wife. She doesn't want one, it is for her too heavy. She likes her eGo just fine, thank you! To each his own.

It should come with a complementary J-Wrap though...

Yes she leaked for 2 straight years. Now she's potty trained. I may replace her with a V2 RBA from Fast Tech if I can get a coupon code.

Did you get a Base Unit?

Or did you get the Starter Kit which come Complete with 25 Diapers, Child Seat and a Mini-Van?

Personally, I wish someone HAD told me how much money I was going to be spending keeping the 80 dollar set up going. Between my wife and I we shorted out at least 12 different eGo batteries ( at 12-15 bucks a pop ) over the course of just two months. It got really expensive REALLY quick.

Ive purchased other devices since I got my Provari but my Provari is my daily all day device and without it I wouldnt have had the cash for the others.

I think advising someone to avoid the headache and hassle and just spend the cash on the better device ( whatever that device may be ) is the best advice someone can give.

God knows I wish I had been on the ECF before I bought my Blu.

Fair enough, but I'm not referring to umpteen eGo batts over a couple months or even a Provari for that matter. I am more on the mechanical side of the OP's post. I can't speculate as to the longevity or quality of fancy circuitry in VV / VW mods since I have never owned one, but I can say for sure that my $80 metal battery tube with a rebuildable genesis can hang with the best of the Greek metal tubes, regardless of what the collectors and snobs have to say. I don't expect that my threads will strip any sooner than a high-end mod, nor do I expect that the switch will instantaneously blow apart leaving me with bits and pieces that render the unit inoperable and only repairable by replacing the entire unit. As a matter of fact, short of dropping my rig off the side of a boat to a depth past recovery, I don't see anything needing replacement that a high-end mod wouldn't need in the same.
So for those reasons, I'm rather glad I didn't buy into the hype about shiny metal tubes and found something that performs to my expectations every time I hit the switch. Didn't take me 12 of anything to figure that out.

3 year old female, 38 inches tall, 29 lbs, brown curly hair and big brown eyes for trade for any ePipeMod available.

Said 3 year old comes with an annual membership to Legoland Discovery Center, complete with lanyard and photo ID.

Would you consider loaning the kid out so I can go to Legoland?

Yeah, but will she leave the charms alone on my AiV bottles? I already have two of those that won't keep their grubby little mitts off them!
