but but but..................should I buy a Provari?

You ducks are quackin' me up!

I am reading around to try to figure out the 'right step up' from my v2 so that should raise EVERYONE'S self-esteem!

Pat

You're going about it the wrong way. If you ask what is the best set-up for power, vapor and flavor, you'll get swarms of fanbois (gender neutral) from everything faction.

Personally, I wish someone HAD told me how much money I was going to be spending keeping the 80 dollar set up going. Between my wife and I we shorted out at least 12 different eGo batteries ( at 12-15 bucks a pop ) over the course of just two months. It got really expensive REALLY quick.

Ive purchased other devices since I got my Provari but my Provari is my daily all day device and without it I wouldnt have had the cash for the others.

I think advising someone to avoid the headache and hassle and just spend the cash on the better device ( whatever that device may be ) is the best advice someone can give.

God knows I wish I had been on the ECF before I bought my Blu.

If I had shorted 12 batteries in 2 months I sure wouldn't trust myself with something priced 10x+ more.
I shorted eGos 3 times in over a year. Nobody told you that putting them on a charger resets the short protection? No other shorts.

"Spend $200", is not a good answer to, "I have $40 to spend."
That's not that hard of math.
The $40 is a week of cigarettes. The option of saving that $40 for 5 weeks doesn't exist, it will be spent on cigarettes or ecigs not stashed away.

On a more serious note, I got a ProVari as a newbie of 3 months. After reading the recommendations, I did my research, then bought. The newbies now seem to come here with some knowledge, and I don't think suggestions by themselves are necessarily a bad thing. I have have suggested other things to newbies, based on what they are looking for. I would suggest both ProVari, and waffles, and tacos, too, if I felt it was appropriate.

Gosh, George Foreman has really moved up in the world!

Why waffles? What happened to tacos? When I see ProVari in a thread title I assume there is Kool-Aid involved, but there should be tacos too!

By the way, do not get a Vamo with a black chrome finish. I've had one for less than 3 months and the finish has worn off. I had to order a J-Wrap for $18.50. It's also top heavy and fell over on a vinyl-padded table top. It just fell over, it didn't appear to hit anything, but now there's a scuff on the screen. With no place to sent it for repair, I'll just have to live with the screen, although I could buy a ss one from FastTech. Is there a coupon?

Hey, I actually have one of those waffle irons! It works pretty damn good too!

Gee, something must be wrong. I have 2 650mAh eGos, 1 1000mAh eGo and 2 1000mAh eGo Twists all over a year old. They get used regularly (I PIF'd most of them) and none have shorted or had any other problems. I know I drank the Kool-Aid and paid too much to US vendors for authentic Joyetech. I wonder if I should write to them and complain that mine aren't performing like everyone else's?
