Now I am REALLY losing track... who am I supposed to recommend a Provari to, a Reo to, and finally, who am I supposed to look at with disdain because they aren't running micro-ohm, handbuilt attys attached to a stacked 18350s wrapped in hand forged copper wire?
Simple, not to someone who has a budget of $40 who doesn't want the hassle of rebuilding.

I really agree, but that is not limited to provari users.

More that people don't READ other's posts.

I saw one recently (and it is typical) that the OP was asking advice on a mod. They stated clearly that they were on a budget and did not have more than $100 to spend. And that they didn't want X battery.

So of course, the next few answers were suggesting mods over the $100 mark, with batteries that were in the category the OP said they dind't want. :)

I think the forums help people but you can' help them if you don't.........LISTEN.

Do you mean something like this?

Yup! Reading comprehension seems to be a lost art with some.

What I don't get is how come there's not more vape delivery device fanboidom. I mean, I love the heck out of my Provari, but if it came down to my Provari or my Kayfun.........I'd have to let the Provari go. Every time I see a "Help My Protank___!" thread my first reaction is to tell them to toss it off a high bridge or tall building. If I do comment, I always give the tips I used to make mine bearable when I still vaped one. Vape device posts always get the best advice reply's. Well maybe with the exception of the "Dude just get an RBA" answer. Out of the three major pieces of the puzzle (Mod, Battery, Vape Device), The Mod probably has the least to contribute to the Vapor. But it's always the most hotly debated. I think Battery chargers are one of the most critical and over looked pieces of vape equipment we own. It doesn't matter how many back up mods you have or how great of a warranty your mod has, it's just a paper weight if your one and only "it came with the kit" charger takes a dump on you.

I wasnt hater of any company but apple made me to brake this statement. The reasons are way off topic. When i get into the vape i have no many knowledge. But from that moment i ve spent over 500 euros (lets say 600 dolars) on equipment and many hours on reading and learning things. I had the oportunity to get my hands on a provari with a good price (below 65 $) But i refuse. Because i tired (not only at this great forum but to some others also) to read "buy a provari. You dont vape if you are not vaping a provari. All others mods are a bag of crap" etc.

Other than this as mentioned before i believe that provari is a very good device with some bad points. The one button use is a pain in the hand (even if you get familiar with that). I dont want to push 13 times the button just to check the coil. No 18650 version (dont like the extensions) and very poor sale package. And some other things (the usb passthrough has the same price as an innokin svd). Also the aftersales support even if its great for all friends at usa its not so great when you leave at europe. You must send back the item to usa, you must pay enough $ for this and you must wait about 20 days to 1 month to get it back. In the meantime the cigarettes are waiting...

Provape must create one or more service points at Europe (and whereever they sell). For such small items no need for big buildings or anything like that. I was working at one of the biggest e-shops at Greece and customer need not only a good after sale but a f a s t after sale support. Especially when he pays a high price.

So provari is not for me but for sure its a great device for another. My point is to see not only the pluses for our equipment but also the minus. :)

The statement about variable voltage being the same as variable wattage, sorry, you are just wrong on this. Yes, the two are related but they arent the same thing.

In a completely literal sense the previous poster's statement is correct. Variable wattage devices are just variable voltage devices that detect the resistance and adjust the voltage accordingly to achieve a set power output. But the mechanism of regulating output is still a voltage adjustment.

Bloody amateurs. If you're gonna make waffles, get some serious waffle makin' iron!

This is what I use.

Awesome waffle maker!

1. Has VB (variable browning) dial so you can fine tune it for your specific batter
2. Brushed stainless is admired by all
3. I used it last night (but not in bed)
4. The DT (drip tray) makes cleanup a snap

i too am happy with my ego's. if ppl want to spend money on provaris and can afford it (i can't), let them. i am not going to feel like a lowlife cause i don't have one. i have other reasons to feel like a lowlife :p

And, there's nothing wrong with rockin' some eGos. What's more important that owning a ProVari? Being off the analogs.
