I disagree;-) Your saying if something is good its just a matter of opinion. Some products are made better than others. Performance, quality, craftsmanship. These things set one product apart from another. I dont think its a big conspiracy when thousands of people agree something is a cut above the rest.

Come on you really believe each person who bought a Provari is just saying its all of that to justify their purchase? Its really not all that expensive.

I can agree getting irritated when you say you want a inexpensive mod and some clown tells you get a Provari is not in any way helpful.

Now weather you think its worth the cost is 100% opinion. But if you compare a Provari in person next to pretty much any regulated mod in production today most will find it is made and preforms better.

Actually it wasn't about the product, more about human nature. Your right it was a general statement, not everyone is that way. My point was the provari fanboys will recommend provari for any reason, because they think it the best. Thats where it starts and moves on from there. Something being the best is all about opinion.

IMO, minus the discussion, this is still the best post I've seen on here so far.

Hands down.

Oh boy! These sound an awful lot like my first Provari posts. The Provari grows on you Mr. Bond. It does have an Ohm meter by the way, and since you're using carto tanks now, there's nothing better, imho. When I got my Provari, I was using a lot of clearos, loved the EVOD, Protank was a bit too airy (I got used to it, then discovered an AFC), and I used a lot of different toppers, different juices, etc. and variable wattage was super important. I use a carto tank all day long and rarely adjust anything anymore. Hits perfectly right up to the last drop. Not afraid of killing it on a trip outa the house either. Well, I've come a long way. Not a fan boy, but not far off either. It's now my usual ADV. No muss, no fuss. Give it time, Mr. Bond. vaping is an evolutionary process. Your post was so reminiscent of my first after-purchase Provari post, that I just had to laugh, and give you my two cents!

Mr Wizard,

Its been 6 hours now. It does feel pretty good in my hand. And I am enjoying the smaller size. I didnt know it had an Ohm checker (thanks). It does fit better in my pocket when I take off the Tatroe base (which I really like....thanks Baditude). This thing is really kinda nice. Bill (Mr. Wizard) Beck somewhat pushed me over the edge to give it a try.

Its sorta reminding me of the difference between my original E-Joye ego's that still all work and all those ego's I bought from fasttech that I keep sending back and / or give away.

OH GOD !! I think I'm being turned. Damnit !

Do you clean the cartos like you would an Atomizer or the head/coils in a Protank, or do you just use it until its done ? Ive been on mine about a week and a half. A smoketech 3.0 I got with an IBTanked set up, 3.0 Ohm....now is 2.2 but still vaping good, no burnt taste. still a good draw.

click AO wait 5 seconds and the reading pops up
If you listen, you will hear the Provari fire the atty while it measures atomizer resistance and battery voltage. It is measuring the ohms or voltage "under load", the most accurate and useful measurement of resistance or voltage.

Some poor souls do in fact attempt to clean their cartomizers. However, they will never be like they were when new. These were meant to be disposable. I figure that I spent up to $6 a day on cigarettes and didn't give it a second thought. Spending $2 on a cartomizer that will last anywhere from 1 - 4 weeks is definitely a bargain in my book.

I continue to use my cartomizers until I get a stiff draw, or the flavor drops off noticeably.

By the way, NEVER DRY BURN a cartomizer. You will ruin it.

Im glad you said that. I did hear that and I was wondering about why my other device's didnt do it and the Provari did. I also notice it would adjust while measuring the Ohm load and then settle on the final reading. Pretty impressive.
