I used to spend $60 a month on analogs, 1/2 pad @ $4 a pack. I've blown $600 vaping in 3 months, another $200 juice order to be placed. I've loaded up on hardware (may need more attys) and am getting a year's worth of juice. Theoretically, I'm all set for a year. The vaping budget was $50 a month, 30 for juice, 20 for hardware!

My allowance is whatever I can get my wife to let me spend. :D She's slowly warming to the idea of vaping though (I've been trying to get her to switch since I started) so she's very understanding about buying new juices or hardware or whathaveyou.

Although, even so, it took some sweet talking and financial juggling to get her to agree to a ProVari, so I think I've spent my allowance for the next little while. :)

See my banner? I'll break even in about.....5 years....or not! I don't set a budget..my health is priceless.

I smoked 4 PAD. As long as vaping keeps me from doing that again, I don't care about the money spent. I've slowed down a bunch in the last couple of months so that has helped. Then again, vendors need to stop introducing new variable voltage mods. I still have a few that I want then I'll be happy. I don't need juice or cartomizers...I'm set for a year or more. I have about 50 new atomizers (not including all the used ones I have..about 25) that will probably never get used unless I run out of cartos.

Wowzer! I can see where you're extra happy with vaping. :vapor:

Are there any bottom feeders you could use those on?

Well, I've spent about 300 a month for the first three months of vaping. Which got me: Reo grand & mini, ego-t type b, echo batts, 2 aw imr 14500's, 2 aw imr 18650's, drip tips, volt pro kit, 3 passthroughs, 14 boxes of cartos, 6 atty's, about 400 mils of juice (200 of which were on sale).

After this, going to get more juice which will get get me through til next year. Then, let the savings begin LOL....hopefully

My primary goal is to spend the same amount on vaping as I did smoking for the first year - $1,800.

My secondary goal is to spend $600 per year ($50 per month) every year after that - saving $1,200 per year.

So far, which is 6 1/2 months vaping, I've acquired 3 nice all-mechanical big battery mods, an assortment of 808D batteries and passthroughs, a nice Pila charger, and a 4-5 year supply of blank cartos. I've only got $250 left to spend for the remainder of my first year which will probably be spent on DIY equipment and flavors just for kicks.

I got lucky and found the right PNV and have to spend only $40 a month on Liquid and that is huge from the $300+ I was spending on analogs. So I bought a new car with the extra monthly savings. If you have the right stuff, stick with it and save your money for a nice personal present to reward yourself for not smoking your money away.

I smoked American Spirits too and I'm also from Brooklyn. Bloomberg was really sticking it to us in taxes. I'm still a vaping newbie so I know I've spent quite a bit...the terrible safe cig kit and cartos I started out with, then on to an ego set up, lots and lots of cartos b/c I don't do attys and carts, lots and lots and lots of juice trying to find my all day vapes, then an echo kit, then a 3.7v box mod, then a roughstack (or two), now I've got a prodigy v3 on the way....and of course more juice. So I don't really know(or don't really want to know) how much I've spent so far, but probably less than or close to equal what I would've spent smoking in NYC at $12 a pack everyday. I do know I've saved myself from some pretty horrible illnesses that were more than likely to be my fate if I kept on smoking. I do intend to stock up and then set a weekly/monthly budget with alittle bit of wiggle room for the occassional new mod itch.
Since march (when I first fully got into vaping) I've spent upwards of $1000 on vaping. Of course thats with my beginner mistakes buying for me and my ex. 808 pcc kits that the batteries broke after a day. Then ego-t kits which the tank system leaked, then trying all sorts of atomizers.. going through lr 510 and ego mega atomizers like they were going out of style. Now I havemy provari and roughstack, found my fav juices and boge cartos, dont waste money on attys and am stocked on juice for another month.

So now that I got my setup down I foresee spending around 100/month on juice and average 100 on modding and such.

Smoking cigarettes I couldn't reallt see what I was really spending cuz it'd be 10 bux every day or other day, whereas with this I make a big order and am good for a while. And I smoked american spirits which last I bought were 12 bux in brooklyn, 10 long island

i dont really keep track. my wife now vapes as well so that has added a little more to what i use to spend. i would guess around $100-$200 every two weeks. i could get by on way less but ive been trying out a lot of new things lately. heck i wouldnt have to buy anything for 6 months to a year with what i have now. i hate the idea of running out of anything though so i over stock normally.

i do plan to buy a few mods and accessories before the year is up. id like to have a VV mod, a good bottom fed box mod, good supply of bats for mods, a few more ego bats, and some sort of tank mod. so i do have a few major purchases left on my short list but after that i should be set for a while.

So far this month I've spent $358 on liquids and supplies for 2 people...mostly liquids though. I keep on getting emails from Mint.com saying "you've gone $$$$ over your e-cig budget this month." No, really?!....

Yeah, so far waaaayy more expensive than my smoking habit. Sad part is I want another mod....it's only $60.......
