In these parts, that means they think you look like you're at least 40 years old. 40? That's wet behind the ears, LOL. But, I do recall being flattered by being ID'd when I was close to 40. I actually THANKED the clerk, and told her she was a lousy judge of age. On the other hand, I'm now 56 and look my age, and have been carded within the past few months. They get carried away after getting busted. I imagine they would card my 81 year old mother at those times. I just have to laugh it off.When the cashier didn't even ASK for my i.d. for purchases of alcohol.
