I disagree. Icke is not a plant. He's an honest researcher but he's also very interested in Consciousness and multidimensional awareness. I always qualify any statement I make about Icke with 'whatever you think of him...' but, as a trained anthropologist and linguist, I have to admit there are unexplainable [even in the field, any honest biological anthropologist will tell you] jumps in our evolution. My training in theoretical and applied linguistics, mainly morphology, phonology, and syntax, has been useful for looking into things like the Sumerian tablets, and others. We can discuss this elsewhere, though. My point was that his philosophy about feeling powerless being an illusion is a good one. We aren't powerless. We have as much power as we choose to take.Icke is a plant. Purposely for disinformation. He tells the truth on a lot of issues then lets himself be discredited by the masses for his repillian people nonsense. If you people want to know what's going on in the world watch the documentary wake up call. You can find the full 2 1/2 hour movie on YouTube I will find it and post back here....and yes I know icke is in it
YouTube - NEW WORLD ORDER WAKE UP CALL Full 2.6 hour dose of extreme WTFU juice.
Okay, took the first step. Just joined CASAA.
Every time a state tries to pass legislation banning use of PVs or eliquids, it gives the anti-nicotine/tobacco zealots (ANTZ) traction to use against us in other states, so in my opinion, it's important to use every voice we have to let them know we aren't going to take it sitting down no matter where it happens- you've just added your voice to the battle cry, and that makes us all the louder. You are CASAA!
I think a lot of us in the US have been desensitized to believe that our voices don't matter- we need to wake up and speak out and demand the facts be heard and refuse to be marginalized by non-smokers who have no compassion or frame of reference for what we have had to overcome. PVs literally save lives, and they don't seem to get it, so its up to us to let them know.
Ways to help that don't cost anything...Anyone else know how I can "freely" help to know I am making a fight against this? Thanks!
Ways to help that don't cost anything...
--Become a regional representative for CASAA
--Encourage others to join CASAA and get involved
Also, now that you've joined CASAA you will be receiving emails regarding Calls To Action.
Those come with instructions about what you can do to help.
Also you will be getting notification of member meetings.
The meetings are every other Sunday at 4:30pm PST and you can find out more ways to help in those meetings.
For example, I am looking into joining the CASAA Legislative Committee.
I DIY so i'm not going to get my panties in a bunch over it.... That doesn't mean there is not vendor's who's juice I love and when I can would want to buy from. Mostly I'm curious about a source? Where's the evidence the FDA wants to completely ban flavors across the entire USA? Seems a bit stupid if you ask me. Ban flavors for vaping better ban that cookie dough flavored vodka!( yes, really, I'm not joking. saw some when i picked up beer yesterday)
You are so right, but to find people in all the Districts is very difficult. Please send information to Cornyn. I have visited with staffers in 2 of his district offices. He is sensible.but he needs more people to send information, and GO to to one of his district offices and talk to a staffer. It is important every ecig consumer in Texas visit the closest District office or write a letter telling your story. Use the legislative packet on the CASAA site for information and write your letter in your own words. Don"t forget your State reps and Senators. The Legislature meets this year and there will be legislation proposed. Educate them before anything is proposed.I wrote all of the Senators listed on the CASAA site. But my experience in contacting representatives (speaking from
former Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Awareness campaigns), is that the letters have the most impact when they come
from constituents in the representatives respective voting areas. We contacted Senators and Congress-persons all across the US trying to get an RSD Awareness month passed. The way we went about it was to try & create contact groups in the actual states that the representatives covered, and the groups contacted only that select group of representatives. Just my 2¢ worth.
It scares me the precedence that this bill could set if passed. Ecigs are what got me off analogs, as I am sure is the case for most here on ECF I don't want to lose this viable alternative to smoking analogs.
