Dog River, from the show Corner Gas originated from my hometown of Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Tisdale has a river that runs through it called the Dog Hide river. Hence the name in the show. I went to school with his cousin Cheryl ..... Brian ...., Cheryl's sister whom is also the cousin of Brent is on my facebook and he used to come see me alot at the petstore I used to work at and gossip about Brent and his wife he married from the show. There is a small town just east of Tisdale called Crooked River, maybe 15 minutes drive from there. Brent's parents lived out there for years. My sister did go to school with Brent at Tisdale Unit Composite School. Funny show indeed. Tisdale, when you drive to it, has a sign that says Welcome to Tisdale, Land of Rape and honey. We used to joke that it said land of rape your honey. I lived in Tisdale for 23 years and then moved to Saskatoon, and then to Aberdeen which is 27km NE of Stoon. Tisdale is about an hour and a half drive from where I live now. I guess this small town girl can't handle those big cities! My population here is just over 500!!

Too funny, I was thinking about you on the bus ride back from the Rockies when you said I would be driving right past you. Of course I tried to guess where and went south! Well, we don't drive through Red Deer Vapo! Could be why I got confused!!
