vape NW has very competitive pricing on a lot of hardware, and orders over $75 ship free via 2 day Priority Mail.
FT is not slow, infact they are faster than most if people are willing to pay for faster shipping. In fact if you pay for DHL which costs less than the snail mail we pay here in the US or Canada I can get my stuff in 1.5 days, I order by Sunday noon and I get it here by Monday evenings ...it doesn't get faster than that then you driving down to your local vape shop to pick it up yourself.
If they ship from HK then it may be faster than from Shenzhen?I preordered the new 75w SMOK Guardian 3 epipe mod on 3/16 and it would have been in on the 25th but someone new at the local parcel delivery messed up! While the updated tracking showed the following monday a week ago friday it came in on saturday after contacting the PO directly! FT shipped that same week as soon as it was available and from preorder to arrival without any other shipping option was within 10 days from Hong Kong where they are based. Someone else however reported an order lost in limbo for 3 months likely from having a battery included which meant no air freight due to unpressurized cargo holds. Shipped by freighter instead. This is one thing to look at when not ordering from a domestic source.
I use them for buying coils often, they usually have really good prices. I ordered 5 packs of coils from them Monday morning, they are out for delivery today. Vapenw also has good prices on hardware and coils. Both of them have shipped very fast for me.how's the service and quality of sweetvapes? I have no experience on them.

It depends where the item is warehoused, FT has warehouses in Shenzhen, HK and Switzerland. Most vendors from China know that customs inspectors in the west have a basis against them so they ship out of HK or Singapore etc... this is why most have shipping offices in those places as well, they know how to get stuff out fast and cheap !
Best to order all items separately this way they get shipped from any warehouse without having to wait for the complete order to be sent to the central location before shipping out. Never order batteries with the same order as this goes with any vendor oversea or it will take the slow boat across the pacific which can take up to 60 days or more ! I learn't that the hard way last spring when I ordered a mod with batteries, the item was sitting on a ship in HK for 30 days before it sailed it arrived 30 days later for a total 60 days on the dot like they said it would and the silly part about all this was that you have to pay extra for it to be shipped freight(slow boat) because they require a tracking number and the free shipping was shipped international air !
pay for slow boat but free for air, that is what drives people insane..
So far not yet has such experience, see @EdT586 's post..How do you figure? Air freight for priority and overnight are the higher priced rates and it's generally anything with a sealed battery or batteries ordered that ships by freighter.
Well as he said himself that was a mod "With Batteries" that was sitting on a shipping dock! With batteries means no shipment by air freight due to security concerns as well as often some cargo planes not seeing pressurized cargo holds which can have a bad end result when a battery bursts in flight!
Your smartest move is never ordering batteries from one side of an ocean to the other! Order domestically! Mods without batteries, tanks, coils, RDAs, etc. else can be ordered otherwise.
wondering how they can ship batteries by air.. declare as non-battery items?Depends on the vendor, just ordered 4x Samsung 25R from Gearsbest this week and they ship by air from Switzerland, that and their pricing was much better than FT !
Different part of the globe entirely there. Gearbest is in Europe while FT is in the Asian region. DHL is the main shipper as far as air freight and they have a ban on anything dealing with batteries. A good deal of that has to do with security concerns which is clearly understood. They even have guidelines for shipping by ground as far as ecigs go! http://us.dhlglobalmail.com/media/pdfs/DHLeC-Battery-Transportation-Policy.pdf

How I found that out was when some what proved to be scam outfit wanted an extra $35 to ship an eGo-C starter kit back in May 2013 before ever seeing the first few box mods. When asking for a refund none ever came of course! Then when going to look at why DHL would even be charging so much which it doesn't! I ran into the restrictions that shipper has.
As far as ordering from Gearbest I have been hearing some complaints about that site lately and simply veered away from it entirely while generally I still prefer domestic US sources to order from when the prices are reasonable as some prices appear to overcharge at times?! An Innokin iTaste VTR 3-15w box mod for example shouldn't be going for $60- at the present time when you can get 100w+ with Temp Control for the same!
