I hope to be at one vendor by coincidence when they just happen to have some in stock by chance and then can get one. The endless wait to catch the right vendor at just the right time is getting a bit too much lately! Sooner or later however.... I Will be able to say: "Got one!":toast::D

Good things never seem to last long! I guess you hit it just at the right time in order to get one.

"Our limited supply of Ohm Meters is now out of stock as of 12PM EST. 8-5-13
As more arrive we will be posting them again."

As you can see it didn't take long for them to vanish!

Another idea would be building your own mod where you already know the resistance value of the cartimizer, clearomizer, or tank being used. Of course if they had a 510 adapter you could patch to a multimeter I would be fine with that as well having been in the testing field.

Note you wouldn't be able to measure the ohms while the device(ecig or mod, ppv) is in use. The hole in the center of various 510 adapters can provide the opportunity for the lead probe there.

Just sign up for the notification on the websites it's sold out at. MadVapes just got them in stock yesterday and I finally managed to get one.. and believe it or not it's out for delivery today! I still need to get a voltage meter as well.. MadVapes got those in stock yesterday too but I didn't make it in time.

Not sure how often they get these items in stock, but it was the day after I signed up for the notifications that they came in stock.

Well I got my kit built. It was much more work than I thought but rewarding in the end. In the end I would say its for someone with more skill than me, and not worth saving $5. Buy one already built if you can. I am surprised it even works.

How about sharing a parts list and possibly a diagram. I would build my own if I knew which parts to get.

Madvapes sells the kit - or you could do something better. Take an inexpensive multimeter & open the case. Find a convenience spot with clearance to drill a hole for a 510 connector & even an EGO thread connector, if you'd like. Use a locknut to secure the connector(s) and then solder the wires to the inputs.

Now you have an ohm meter that does more than just RBA/RDA duty.

Want a great multimeter? Get a Fluke! You can't top those over any cheapies! Had one here for nearly 15yrs. and never had a problem. Used it for on the job testing and still works whenever I need it. Reliable, durable, and accurate.

This x10000

A family friend retiring from PECO gave me a Fluke 87 that he's had for at least 10 years (probably more like 20) after he heard I was getting frustrated with my ....ty multimeter from Harbor Freight.

The only problem I'm having with it, probably due to the environment it was being used in, is that I often have trouble getting it into high accuracy mode to test in the hundredths of ohms. Luckily that doesn't affect me too much, but it's a nice touch to have when it works.

Or you could even make an adapter for the multimeter probes. If I didn't already have an atty ohm meter I would go to Radio Shack and buy those alligator clips that you stick onto the multimeter probes, cut off the alligator clips and wire them to a 510 connector. You'd really just need to solder 2 wires, on each end. Of course if you want to mount it all nicely you could do that easily as well.

I personally am still in the market for the volt meter v2 - also out of stock everywhere.
