Good article Bob, abviously the tendency is to eliminate the smoke, but how come in all this years nobody has tryed the vaporizing approach?

Vaporizing tobacco dosn't produce smoke and still the nicotine intake way is by inhalation, is this due to a "social stigma" of vaporizing herbs? or is it a technological problem where vaporizers are too big to be portable? or an economic problem where vaporizers are too expensive to be used massively?

Or maybe it is just due to nobody has seen the big potential of harm reduction by vaporizing tobacco?

Maybe vaporizing tobacco dosn't have any harm reduction at all, but that could be measured easily because we already know the carcinogenous quimicals to be avoided in the tobacco and measure the CO production is really easy, as well as the second-hand vapor.

Maybe is a mix of all of that, I don't want to think that people (speacially in the gvt.) already know that vaporizing the tobacco is the perfect solution to smokers and they are not telling us for any reason.

And what if by vaporizing tobacco someone could get an even more satisfying experience than with our e-cigs? a lot of money is waiting in that idea for the tobacco companies and for the one who brings to the market a reliable-social accepted-small-portable vaporizer.

Maybe that device is already available...
