I've noticed that quite a few people on the forum have a few different devices that they use. At first I couldn't understand why anyone would want more than one good device but now I've got a few myself I've found that they have different benefits.

I like my RN4072 classic for testing and dripping. It gives off a respectable vapour and keeps the taste of the liquid well. I don't like using cartridges in it because I can't get good vapour with them. It's a good workhorse and I don't fuss too much about being heavy handed with it, it's easy to replace parts. I don't use it much now but it's handy to have as a backup.

My Ruyan bling ecigar is great for taste, I refill the Ruyan cartridges with my diy juice because I don't like the Ruyan eliquid. The taste of whatever eliquid I use really comes through, no overcooking or anything with the atomiser. It's a very smooth taste for me too. The only thing wrong with it is it's a bit chunky and too heavy to hold between your teeth for any length of time. The draw is lighter than my RN4072 but harder than my Kissbox.

The other device I've been using lately is a Janty Kissbox Classic. It's been a bit of an experience getting used to this and I've had to relearn my esmoking technique but I'm starting to get the benefit of it. It has the lightest draw and the manual switch makes a lot of sense, vapour when it's required, no excess drawing. For me the atomiser burns hotter than my other devices and seems to cook the eliquid a bit more. This gives the vapour a bit of a bite and a harsher hit to the throat. I'm getting used to the taste now and like it but it wasn't easy. It doesn't carry eliquid flavour as well as my other devices but the ease of draw gives it its place. I use it when I just want a 'smoke' without the struggle of primer puffs and harder drawing. I'm not good with dripping it yet so I'm using Janty cartridges for now.

Which devices do you use most and how?

Well i got :

DSE-901b :
from smokester, I use this one mainly if im at work or out and about because its a nice size, cart size is adequate too and i dont vape much when im out and about.
I like the draw on it, just right and im using standard reg high carts and topping off when required with a mix of various e-juice.

RN4072 :
again from smokester, Thought i'd get one of these for e-smoking at home due to the larger cart and bigger battery. seems i'm constantly vaping at home ;) The Draw on this was harder than the 901 and at first i kinda prefered it tbh but just recently the draw is like a macdonalds milkshake...bloody hard, still quite usable though, good amounts of vapour and give a satisfying smoke. Again i use standard hi carts and topping off with the same cocktail of liquids.

Cheapy Generic pen style from ebay :
got this for £15 for a full starter kit and 15 carts. currently my weapon of choice at home. It has a 4 hole atomizer that gives a similar draw to the 901 and it pumps out an imense amount of vapour. Tasted a bit weird with the factory prime but after a few hours of use this subsided and it tastes great.
only thing is the carts are slightly shorter thn those for the RN4072 so i cant use those and getting new carts may be tricky but i got 15 of them to re-use so should last a while. It's a nice purple colour too which i like . smoking it the same way as the other 2 by topping off carts. for £15 i may get another for the spares.

I'm currently waiting on delivery of the Ruyan bling and a dealExtreme e-cigar. i also won another ebay auction for a Pen style for £6.50 ;) the seller was delayed posting it so i havent got that yet so to apologise for the delay he said he'd throw in a mini e-cig too..result.

Purple, eh? How about a link, Apostle?

I have a Sedansa Diva, which is unfortunatly out of commission (a JC SJ casualty) but was my main e-smoker.

My main backup penstyle is the Janty, followed by my Njoy, and last, my white generic.

Then, for minis, I like the Janty Yentyl best, followed by the 901. I have one 901b from Smokester left, and one each left from Pillbox and Meltrix. Not to mention one from Smuke.

For Superminis, the only one I really like right now is the 101b, the new 89mm one. You can get it from Paxesshop.co.uk, or from ePuffer. It's as small and almost as light as a real cigarette. Superminis in general sacrifice performance for their size, giving you less vapor due to the smaller atomizer, and shorter cartridge and battery life. BUt IMO they aren't smaller or lighter enough to be worth the trade. The 101b is small and light enough to be worth it.

The cases that seller on ebay has look ok Apostle, what do you think of yours, any good? Is there room for a small bottle for dripping?

It's interesting that you have just about everything on the market Leaford and you use a Sedansa Diva as a primary device. Is that because it's easy to use? Did you have to work on technique with it as I've had to with my Kissbox?

That's an awesome combo Leonardjohn. I like the manual switch too and the USB battery is handy. I've just tried an RN4072 with my Kissbox switch and battery but it's not heating up.

Kate, I like (well, liked, I'm waiting for replacement parts) my Diva because it was such a good vapor producer, and was very reliable, and had a long lasting battery. It wouldn't normally need any kind of priming, just a smooth easy draw. The long cutoff would get a bit annoying, but that's where having a mini in my pocket came in handy. (Wait a minnit. Mini in my pocket? That just sounds wrong. :( )

The cut off was part of the problem I had with the Diva when I was a newbie. I thought the batteries needed charging when they flashed so much. I was certain that they were only lasting for an hour or two at most. Now I think it was the cut off ... duh! I was also thrown off by the atomiser getting very hot. Now that I've tried the Kissbox and experienced the same thing with it I think it's just how they are and maybe they are more efficient than most. The Diva and the Kissbox both have four hole atomisers too and apparently that makes a difference. There is more of a harshness to the taste with them that has taken me some getting used to, I've become used to smooth tastes with little hit to the throat.

Yeah the case it fine for a pen , it will hold an atomizer with fitted cart , 2 batterys and a spare cart.I suppose if you took out the liner and had a very thin dripping bottle it might work :p.
They look the same cases that pillbox and smokester sells for about a fiver, so if you take that £5 off the price for the case then the starter kit only costs £9.99 :thumb:

ApO I bought the black one and am really pleased with it - smokes well & I actually prefer it to my 901 at the moment. (But only had it a couple of days so will report back about how the performance holds up.)
He does sell spare carts for it but the problem might be atomisers - do the RN4072's fit it? Pity the chargers are not compatible.
