So I am getting into juice blending with the potential for opening a shop in the near future. I was planning on trying out flavorings from wizardlabs but figured I'd contact Hangsen seeing as they are supposed to make some of the best flavorings around. I'm wondering if there are any solid advantages to Hangsen over TFA/TPA, LA, etc.? Aside from the fact that Hangsen's tobacco essence line uses real extract. One of my main reasons for asking this is because hangsens flavorings are wayyyyyy more expensive then the others.

I've heard that alcohol can cause problems and iirc I saw something that led me to believe that Hangsen might not use alcohol. Any info on that?

I have several bottles of Hangsen tobaccos and like them all. I have several bottles of other tobaccos from the various suppliers and don't like any of them. they just sit in my test tube rack while the Hangsens get used. None of my HS tobaccos have a alcohol odor. I also think HS vanilla is the best around. Good luck

just curious - do you have experience with mixing eliquid?

Interesting, I figured their tobacco flavors would be the best and a good vanilla is pretty important :). Do you have much experience with the rest of their non-tobacco flavors though? I'm ordering wholesale and I can't mix and match the regular with the tobacco essence so regular only this time around to see what i think.

First time mixer but I'm all around pretty handy ;-).

you really need to do some mixing and come up with a few good mixes trying all flavor venders. It's not an easy thing to do nailing down a great vape. It takes a lot of practice. I happen to like hangsen but other companies have there moments to. You just need to try them all.

argh lol. So I guess I made it a bit confusing by mentioning tobacco, I'm not even ordering tobacco flavorings at the moment, I only mentioned that as an advantage that Hangsen has over the competition. I'm simply interested in the reasoning for Hangsen's retail pricing being so much higher than the competition and if their product actually has an advantage that warrants it.

What I know thus far:
-Hangsen=$6/10ml TFA/LA/WL=$1.49/8ml
-mixing percentage recommendations are similar
-seems that they all use a mixture of natural and artificial flavors
-I'll have to check with my rep but everything I have read seem to imply that hangsen only uses alcohol in select flavors where it is required. The other's use of alcohol seems to be more frivolous.

I understand the details of different flavors/manufacturers requiring varying percentages and taste preferences leading one to certain flavors from certain brands. I suppose that ultimately what I am seeking to learn here is who has the all around best quality for my needs. In particular, for my situation of blending juices for customers, I am concerned about steep time hence my mention of alcohol content. I am also buying in bulk so I'm hoping to be able to narrow my sources down to say 2-3 manufacturers or less.

Sorry if my thoughts seem a little scrambled lol, it was pretty late when I started this thread. I greatly appreciate everyone's input :D!

Wait? You can HERE to NARROW choices down?

Ever get a bunch of cooks together to get an opinion of the best wine to start a reduction with? Or the best baking apple? Or what makes a BBQ sauce? or meatballs...spaghetti...bake ware...herbs-fresh or dried (and how they were dried)...oooohh the list goes on and on.

We're worse! You'll find mixers on here BBQ'ing apples and arguing the finer points of BBQ'ed apples.

The vast majority of my DIYs use The Flavor Apprentice. I also like the tobacco flavors that Azure Vaping sells, particularly the Caramel Tobacco and Robacco. Robacco with TFA Juicy Peach is a great combo. I have yet to find a vanilla that really nails it for me.

That's good to hear, pretty much what I was thinking, TFA seems to be pretty consistent on good flavors. Thanks! Well dang...I love vanilla so I sure hope I don't have that problem...I actually haven't tried a vanilla juice yet.

Lol, too true, but you can't blame me for trying. I was more looking for scientific advantages rather than flavor preference but even then there will be opinions despite the concrete laws of chemistry.

Screw BBQ sauce, I go straight for the awesome sauce ;). For serious though, mmmmm BBQ *drools*. I just discovered something BBQ related, BBQ sloppy joe sauce from Del Monte. Omg it's so good!

I do love your excitement and ambition............... but, IME, there are so many flavors, so many combinations and so many personal preferences that I have way more trial & error than trial & success. That's not to say that I haven't found some great vapes or that I'm not having tons of fun. It just is taking A LOT of experimentation.
