I've tried cotton candle wick it's not really all that great,I think anyway it does perform but again gotta set it down and wait. Tried it again and freyd the ends a bit did work better,a much smoother throut hit then silica. I've tried hemp, really doesn't wick all that well. the cotton candle wick does absorb better. I will be trying cotton yarn though 4 sure all I hear is good things about it. Also cheesecloth

As you continue to try stuff, check out the rolled cotton, it's amazing. I mention it on page 2 of this thread.

rolled cotton gave too strong of a TH. flavor felt strange.. cant describe it really. but i know i dont like it.

100% cotton cheesecloth is FOR SURE my wick of choice. great flavor, can take some heat (much more then rolled cotton) , and wicks great as long as you dont have it rolled too tight.

ive been using cheesecloth on a 1.7ohm 32g kanthal coil in my phoenix. with a bigger oring for adjusting airhole with wick this thing has been vaping perfectly to my standards. until i find something better, cheesecloth will be the one.

can you use cheesecloth for a genesis? i really wanna try a genesis, thinking about the AGA-T from vaperite. $40 seems very fair for a SS rba

I use cotton yarn in my phoenix atty and 2 novas and it works amazing, no waiting, I chainvape like no other flavor outperforms silica 10 to 1. I went to walmart in knitting section. Found a big ball of peaches and cream brand white 100% cotton yarn, boiled in for 30 mins to remove anything extra and its awesome. Ss mesh is on my to do list just haven't got around to using it yet.

I use this also. I don't even boil it. I put the skein in a freezer bag with a small hole it it to pull the yarn through. Works great and keeps the cotton clean. I chain vape with my Phoenix clone and Rainbow clone with no problems at all with wicking. Juice taste very clean with no off taste. Give it a try folks.
