Ok so I have vaped before and I lost my Volcano Inferno with the tube tank when it fell out the car door on accident and I never found it, long story short I started on analogs again now I smoke more and I feel worse and I want to stop and I want to vape with the best. I have been looking around and I really want a PV that looks good like the Volcano products but is very reliable unlike the other battery I have from them that has stopped working some how. Also I had the tube tank, I believe that is a cartomizer with a tank around it please correct me if i am wrong, and I loved it for the 3 or 4 days that I had it. The tank gave me more vapor and flavor than a drip or the stupid little tanks that originally came with the Inferno. I have been looking at the KGO kits from Hoosier but this kit looks like it has the small tanks that I had trouble with on the Inferno KGO kit1100mAh by SLB and I do not want to mess with something that will just leak all over the place and have to carry around e-juice so I can fill it back up through out the day, this kit looks more like what Im looking for KGO kit1100mAh by SLB that being something that has the power and the e-juice capacity to last all day. What I need advice on is the second kit does that look like a good kit to start out with, again, I have knowledge with PVs and Im not totally stupid with them just need some guidance still. Also I understand that the Volcano Inferno is a re-branded eGo? And if so the KGO delivers more voltage so it would be better especially with the 1100mAh battery. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

The Kgo is a very good starter kit. You can actually use whatever you want on it (cartomizer, atomizer, tank, etc). They come with a cartomizer and should not leak at all as long as you don't over fill it.

I would say that would be a good place to start and definitely better than the Inferno you had before. Kgo is a 3.7 volt battery whereas the eGo is only 3.4 volts. More power is always better, plus the Kgo comes standard with a 1100 mAh battery whereas the eGo standard battery is only 650 mAh.

You can't go wrong with kgos or egos. They are great devices!

Since you said you want to vape with the very best, then I would suggest maybe taking a look at a Provari. While I can't say it is 'THE BEST' because no single device is the best, it is definitely one of the nicest high-end devices that is readily available.

I third Artopsy & Bronze except I would buy two ego twists variable V. I would buy 2 chargers 1 wall & 1 USB just in case one fails. The reason for two twists is in case one should fail. I bought a 650 to take out & a 900 for at home. I forget to charge them but one is always charged. Another big + for the Mini Vivi Nova. They hold 3+ml and easily last me a day, don't leak & ejuice tastes like it should. Not to mention they are rebuild-able & come in different ohms. I bought mine from Discount Vapers, the mini is branded DV its his house brand & it works perfect. My main concern was having at least two units of everything should 1 fail. I do not want to be forced into buying analogs. I started vaping a month ago & I'm to weak willed to go without at this point. If you buy 1 ego they take up to three hours to charge. Good luck

I highly recommend KGO's from Hoosier to newb friends. The second link you posted was for their passthroughs. Those are nice but I don't know if you have to only use them with a connection or not. You can get their other starter kits that include two batteries and get the vision tanks also if that is what you would like to use. I recommend the visions tanks also to newbs although I don't use them myself mainly because I am a dripper. But enough said, KGO is a great device and Hoosier is really a dependable and great vendor and has helped out in donations to our vape meets here in South Florida and provided starter kits for newbs.

Although I've tried variable voltage and more powerful devices (no Provaris, but I have no desire to), I still love my KGOs and similar ego batteries and will not hesitate to recommend them. Simple and easy to use, long lasting, looks and feels great, quality and durable devices. KGO all the way, baby. Or a Riva, if you want to click the button only 3 times instead of 5. :p And you really can use practically any tank device on these babies, they're great and rewarding.

I bought my KGO starter kit (and then a Riva kit, since it was on clearance) from The Plume Room, and I highly, highly recommend this vendor. She has terrific prices, quality, name-brand products, great packaging, and amazing juices (which you get for free with kits, but she also always throws in freebie juices, as well as sometimes other similar products that you might find helpful with your order). The customer service at The Plume Room is astounding: seriously, the best ever in the world. She goes above and beyond in everything, and once you shop here you will be disappointed by anywhere else. :p

This is the KGO kit I originally bought: KGO 1100 Electronic Cigarette by SLB | The Plume Room and I also recommend getting at least one of the suggested tanks in this thread, or if you do end up buying from The Plume Room, ask Andrea, the vendor, what she recommends based on your personal vaping desires and needs. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. And as annoying as this may sound, no, I'm not in anyway associated or rewarded or bribed by The Plume Room, unless of course you mean rewarded by being extremely satisfied with service and products. :D :p

i love my ego minis and my standsrd ego with some smoktech 1.7s, you cant go wrong and the arts are extremely cheap, i got 2 mine 350mah batts, a usb charger (minus the wall plug), and 6 cartos from madvapes for i think around $40 and they hit like a freight train.
Essentially any ego with the 1.7s i imagine rocks. ECBlends for liq is also very good for price/ml for newbies and even experienced vapers.

Im a vaper on a budget, cant be buying too much fiddly out of the box :)

Happy Vaping.

Again, if you want the smallest, weakest battery on the market, that would be the eGo. If you want a better battery with more power and longer run times in the same physical size, get the Kgo. If you want variable at a lower price point than the Twist, but again with better circuitry, then I would look at the Gripper from Madvapes. With the VV Gripper, you can use any atty or carto, even dual coil ones. You can't do that with the Twist due to it's small amp limit. But if that limitation is not important to you, the Twist would work fine.

I have used both the eGo (3.4 volts) and Kgo (3.7 volts) and there definitely is a noticeable diff in the vape. A good Kgo starter kit can be had for less than $50.00. I would recommend also buying a rebuildable Mini Vivi Nova- when the head (wick+ coil) burns out simply unscrew old head and replace- takes 10 secs. My heads are lasting about 3-4 weeks. Here's a great deal and comes with 3 heads:
ElectronicStix.Com : ViVi Nova V2.5 2.0ML Twist on Replacable Coil TANK - ViViNova2ML
