I've been into vape for 3 years, but compared to some that makes me a relative noob. I must say there has been an amazing improvement in the technology in that time! Also, the increase in B&Ms in the last few years (there were none in this area when I started) should make it easier for those just starting.

Wow, how did you initially get into it? A friend, Internet? I don't think I even knew about ecigs in 2007, but had been smoking cigarettes the better part of 15 years by that time.

SmokeyJoe started ECF in 2008, if I'm remembering correctly, and this was his second Forum. It is possible that ecigs were able to be researched on the Internet back then.

I started in November 2009, never smoked another stinky since. My first one was Eluma then I found Green Smoke I used that until I found joytech then I found
ECF now it has become a hobby that I enjoy so much!!

I'm just here to say "Not me". Although I've tried e-cigs off and on over the last several years, I really never started vaping until about three months ago.
