Ms. Skittish all gen 1 kr808s work their way down from 4.2v at start. Some stay above 3.9v better than others (mainly the aforementioned kd and stealth batts). Gen 2 batts stay at their regulated voltage their whole life until the very end (if you check the voltage on the last puff before death it usually registers at 3.2v). In the ones I've tested thus far that range is 3.57v-3.68v on load.

How many puffs are you taking an hour, and for how long Bill Berry sir? All these factor in to how long a battery will last...

Ah! Master Morandir! Seems to me I've been vaping the holy heck out of them, if I'm doing it right(I hope I'm doing it right, I don't crave any analogs). It seems to me I vape more than I used to smoke, 1.5 PAD. My experience is extremely limited, but I'm happy with their performance. I'm taking DEEP hits every few minutes, reminds me of smoking that other thing that I used to smoke. I like vaping better than smoking!

How about batteries that don't stink electrochemically? I'd like to find kr8* autos that will hold up for more than 30-45 days. This ordering new ones every month for flat failing-to-charge batteries is getting old. The earlier batteries I was using that had the diaphragm-type switches were still taking a charge a year later. At some point many suppliers seemed to switch to a different manufacturer that was using a far inferior battery electrochemically (characterized by that manufacturer using a 'microphone'-based switching system too).

Now it seems I can't get batteries that hold up more than a month or so and I'm about done with that nonsense.

Any suggestions?

Ms. Adrenalynn been using the king diamond and stealth batts frpm v4l 95% of the time since their release in march and haven't lost any to switch issues save for ones intentionally done in by juice for testing purposes (with one exception, one was killed by a thicker juice that wasn't completely sucked up by the syringe)....

Your part about the microphone based switch threw me off Ms. Addy, again though gotten 200+ charges out of those batts (and with avoiding deep cycling over 300) before death. Wonder if your issues may be because of the chargers. Have you checked the batts to see what they're charging to off load? Anything over 4.25v will greatly shorten their life.

I wouldn't say "not good enough" - I'd say "not consistent with my experiences, or with the commercial analysis I did on the batteries for a particular vendor".

If they're working that well for you, I must be getting all the bad ones. Not statistically impossible, just improbable. Or someone likes you. ;)

I do thank you for your input and response though! I'll see if anyone else has any further advice before I buy another battery or two and then start weening myself from vaping.

I am sharing the bad ones with you. I've had two go in the last month that were less than one month old and won't hold a charge for longer than 15 minutes or so. And that's just recently.

Not to mention batts that need constant fiddling so they will fire a carto.

My rate is about 1 out of 4 good ones.

Ticket, return, ticket, return. Ad nauseam.
