Yeah but because the cheap ones are not really made for SLR in particular, you don't really have that much choice. The Natural is cheap and needs some sanding of the contacts and then there are probs with that... eventually China will catch up..

The iSeason has all brass contacts already -- no modification required. It's a stainless device (no all-brass or copper tubes yet), but you don't need to sand anything. China is learning fast, as usual.

Yeah but ya see, when those thin tubes don't screw all the way down, they shift back and forth while you use it, like a hula girl on the dashboard of a 1960 Olds 88. Not exactly a very closed circuit.
Ya know there are a lot of people out there (such as myself) who really don't care what their e-cig looks like. Personally I find it quite funny that people get so caught up with the aesthetics of their goo delivery device.

My lambo 18350 works just fine on SLR coils which I didn't expect. Well since its the same as the lava tube and the LT fires SLr I guess it makes sense. But for me also I love mechs simply because it's just a battery

so are you saying the lambo works good with low resistant coils? how low does it go? i thought it cuts out at 1.3Ω

I'm running a .9 ohm right now and I'm at 3.7v and it's working just fine. It's the same vape as my iseason mech device only difference is the vape is constant then dead - as opposed to a mech.

Don't get me wrong I still prefer just a battery when dealing with SLR but I like the fact that I can monitor battery usage and ohms as well. It will let me fire the atty up to 6v - it's definitely is not a 6v vape due to the Internals but it will let me fire .09 at 4.5 volts 100%. But I keep it at 3.5-3.7 v

wow i thought the provari v-2 was the only vv device that goes below 1.2 ohms, and as low as 0.8. so the lambo will let you go to .09? and at 4.5v? it must have a higher amp limit as well, maybe 4.5amp limit? what is the wattage limit? i hear you about liking a vv device for certain reasons, i love my provari, but love my mechanical mod as well. usually i will do a 1.1 to 1.2 ohms on provari at 4ish volts and do sub-1 coils on the mechanical mod. and yes the vv devices love to eat batterys.

Honestly don't quote me on this but I've read the reason it's called a lambo 4.0 is due to a 4.0 amp limit. Then I read somewhere it had a 5 amp limit and read at another place a 3.5 amp limit -

But If I put the same RBA on the VV at 4.0 and a freshly charged 18650/18350 it's the same exact vape.

I can't test higher voltages bc I sold my provari but yep it works . Not sure on the wattage limit but I'm at 15 watts when running 3.7/.09 and it's doing just fine. No over heating or melting :)

On the zmax it will only tell me ohm and won't fire. I found out the lambo worked by accident. Was just trying to check ohms and all of the sudden the baby fired up and I almost had a heart attack - was waiting for an explosion until I read up more about it. I call that a " slaying the dragon blindly ". I had no idea the lambo would be of use to me like this

Something doesn't sound right... 0.9ohm coil at 4.5v is over 22 watts and is at 5 amps. I have a lambo that is about 5 months old and nothing under 1.3 ohms works on it...as a matter of fact I make my setups at least 1.5ohms for it to work without constantly getting error messages. When did you get your device? I wonder if your regulator has fried?

I assume you thought I was talking about the gap between the top cap and a genesis atty. I was originally referring to the fact that certain batteries don't fit, leaving gaps at the seams where the tubes thread together.

You are correct, I thought you meant gaps between the atty and body.

As for battery gaps, isn't that true with nearly any mod? You have to choose the right battery. Some work well, some don't. I don't think that's exclusive to cheap mods.

thats what i always had thought about the lambo, as far as i knew the provari v-2 was the only vv device that would fire a coil under 1.2ish and as low as 0.8. so when i seen this lambo doing sub-1 coils i was interested in it. maybe his lambo's circuitry is fried or just not working. i mean i believe him, for he should know what a 0.9 coil is.

No I don't think so, many mods do acquire different batteries, and some can be threaded out if needed and remain solid. This one can't, you have to use the right batts for each configuration and it kind of falls short of what a multi-stage mod was meant to be. At least for this application of low res, high amp draw, the high drain batts I have fit, but nothing else did until I fixed it.

I just saw a youtube of a Poldiac and the guy was using it with a Penelope... really? You can use a $40 Zmax with it and get the same thing, even better....

I checked it out and the new Lambos allow for a 1.0 ohm set ups....which is good but you won't be able to use a 28 wire on it efficiently. He got a 0.6ohm coil to work with it..which is crazy low ohms. Basically his device is unregulated....I think he got lucky and fried the right part of the circuitry. I wish I could do that with mine.

juniorNA, i hate to ask, for i know that you know what resistances would be, but when you have this 0.9 set-up what wire and how many wraps is it?

28 gauge - 5 wrap on the aga -t

It could be regulating itself. I feel the 4.5v vape is stronger than 3.7 but probably not where it should be. So it makes sense if it has a 4 amp limit and it works well on 3.7

But then again- sure it could be fried circuitry. I put this thing through hell

Could be.....but you got a 0.6ohm coil to work on it....it seems to me there is no regulation as far as cut offs go. The new ones are supposed to have a 1.0 ohm cutoff....which is better than the one I have with a 1.2 ohm cut off. BUt even with a 1.0 cutoff you normally wouldn't be able to put a genny on it with less than 1.3ohm resistance and not get error messages. That is why your situation is so intriguing to us....you basically got a vv device that has no low ohm cut off. Where did you get your lambo?

Yeah I totally understand the questioning.

I got it from discountvapers. Lambo mini 4.0 by Lrider.

It's firing just fine on .09 with 28 gauge and I've been vaping for a few years and have mechanicals to compare the vape quality on the lambo vs a mech and the vape is the same at 3.7v. But that could just mean I fried the right part like you Said. I use the lambo to test all my gennys cause of the quick ohm check and I can up the voltage when conditioning the coil . Usually I'm always above 1.4 ohms but when I got my 28 gauge in last week I tried it on the lambo and it worked and surprised me
