I am finding myself spending more as well! But, I am a former nurse that has cancer and is on disability so it has become my new "hobby". Lol I promised myself that when I find just the right equip and just the right juice, the spending will slow down. So far though, I am so glad just to be off the analogs!! This has been the only thing that has worked for me. :headbang:

Here's some unconventional advice:

1. STAY AWAY FROM ECF! The more time you spend here the more you will find out about new juices, new heads, new technologies, and of course the "can't resist" sales!

2. Go to Fasttech.com. Once you see the prices on their stuff you will be unwilling to pay what you have been at the local websites.

3. (This is key!) Whenever you order something from fasttech, do not place another order until the previous order arrives.

Follow these 3 easy steps and your spending will be under control in no time! Or not.

After getting the rig you need to keep you off the analogs, figure out how much money you're saving and put it away for something you really want. I'm saving for a sailboat. My brother and I are going to get one and then make the whole world our back yard. We plan on going overseas and seeing some of the world before we get too old to enjoy it. If you have an end plan it makes it a lot easier.

It's too late. You've been sucked in. Don't try to fight it, just keep vaping :vapor:
Exactly. Can you put a price on your health? :D

Play around, find some good gear and some good juice and find your happy place. Once you get settled in, it's no sweat and costs next to nothing unless you choose to make it a hobby. If you choose to make it a hobby then all bets are OFF!

I say: "Embrace the madness!"

Gratz on kicking the stink sticks to the curb, and welcome to ECF :)

That's an awesome plan! I hope that happens, and when it does, you should post pics of you vaping all over the world :D haha

Our plan started about year ago and me quitting smoking just got us closer by about two years. We figure to be in a nice sized boat in another two years. Just about the time I retire. :p Oh, we plan on taking and sharing pics of us everywhere. Two old geezers on the adventure of a lifetime! Look out world!!!!! :D

Once you find YOUR perfect setup - the spending WILL slow down - at least until the next game changer like the Aspire Mini's come along LOL (BTW just got mine today and OMGS - wow is all I can say!!!)

I'm pretty content with where I'm at. I've got an iTaste VTR, an iTaste MVP 2 and a Vision Spinner...a mini protank 2, an EVOD glass, an old Kanger EVOD, a 510 atomizer and a 306 atomizer. Not top of the line stuff, but it works well for me. I buy pretty much all my juice from Vista Vapors for 4.99 for 17mL. The most expensive part for me was finding the right setup. Now that I've found what I like I spend about 25-30 bucks on supplies for a month...I would spend more than that on smokes in a week.

I was where you are now and it's tuff with all the products coming out. My suggestion on especially mods and toppers is to wait till it's been on the market for a while then compare it through multiple sources with other products to see if it really stands out or if it's just another thing to pick our pockets. If you want something, it's been out for a while and has plenty of objective feedback through multiple sources then wait 2 weeks, there's a good chance you will have moved on to wanting something else by then but if you still do then give it serious consideration at that point.

It can save you money once you figure out what works for you and realize that even though many new so called....Best Vape I ever had or This is a Game Changer" products that come to market are the same are just minor variances of what's already out then the wallet starts to see the benefits as well.

I DIY my juice, build my own coils and have pvs I'm happy with that perform the way I want. I now vape on $20 a month or less and very seldom see anything coming to market that interest me enough to look into it further but getting to that point and gaining enough experience to tell what was what had my cc sweating bullets at times.

For the past 3-4 years I was rolling my own with the "pipe" tobacco. $13.99 a lb and the boxes of tubes were about $2.50 each, came to about $20 for 2 cartons of smokes, and my wife and I went through that weekly. I am spending about $30 a week now, but I think that has a lot to do with me being somewhat new to this and wanting to try everything out :) It is definitely worth the extra cost for a much cleaner habit, ideally this won't be permanent either, already down to 6MG/ML juices and my next orders will be 3.
