According to an article in the LA Times, by
Patrick McGreevy and
Melanie Mason, "...Some veterans groups also objected, leading Assemblyman Jim Wood (D-Healdsburg) to amend the bill to exempt those under 21 who are in active military service." So, I guess you would need a military ID or something to buy a pack of smokes or your favorite vape. Right now, to buy Vape products on the internet, it works out well because you have to be eighteen to have a credit card. therefore the customer is at least eighteen. How is this going to work? I guess the next step is ban all online sales?
The irony for me is I started selling e-liquid in 2013 with the hopes of helping smokers like myself quit for good and be able to have a vice that is much much safer. Now i am being undermined by the gov't by being lumped together with big tobacco. How did that happen? I thought as long as science was on our side we were actually going to change the world.
