We have a lot of people turning to vaping down in South Florida. I really do think if Ecigs are banned in any way that our rather large vape group would probably meet up somewhere in a public place and vape, maybe call the news crews ahead of time and get our voice heard. I think it would be cool if groups all over could organize a Vape out somewhere in their area. There are a lot of Vape groups all over the states.

I don't use them personally but I've been monitoring the progression of disposable cigarettes available at convenience stores. They started off @ $10/ea when I first noticed them for sale, disposable, "equivalent to 1 pack". Now the prices have dropped to about $7, rechargeable KR808's for $20, and there is even a small selection of flavoring in some spots, although it's pricey compared to vendors online.

People are obviously buying them and these shops are expanding their inventory. Not quickly, but I don't think they're going anywhere.

I signed the petition. I'm curious how they'll reply.

Bump :D Only about 2200 signatures left to go. I agree that petitions are sort of pointless, but I signed it anyway and now I just want to see what sort of response they'll give us. It'll probably be a canned answer about there not being massive studies done, and it's a safe answer for them, but we won't even get that if we don't get more signatures. We're pretty close to receiving a guaranteed response, which most petitions don't get... so let's see what they say!

I did sign the petition 2 weeks ago, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it will go largely unnoticed and will quickly find its way to the shredder. Maybe we should have asked for a death star instead?

Thats alright judging by you banner and Redskins helmet youre used to being on the losing side :p

Rookie of the year!!

Too bad his knee is torn to shreds, and he will probably never be this good again. :(

I refuse to take seriously anything the current administration does. How many more times are they going to raise the number of signatures required for consideration? Besides, if our government had any concern for public health, they would be promoting e-cig use instead of trying to figure out creative ways to tax it. All of these"petitions" are nothing more than enemies-lists that write themselves. Don't feed the troll.

"I have heard your concerns regarding tobacco and I agree we must protect our children from its deadly effects. Today I am issuing an executive order which bans all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes which target our children, Children this, children that, children, children, children. I like children, I like using the word children, we can all agree on children, nobody doesn't like children."

I love it that they are trying to say this is a problem ha ha such evil... If anything I bet 98% of us started smoking as kids... I know it wasn't hard for me to get a pack in the state of North Carolina,(where I grew up) even the police would say nothing to me and lets be honest to say that at least 90% of the future generation that starts smoking will never even heard of an e-cig. . If all a means for PC(population control) if you ask me. It just really is sad the FDA are bringing in the future generation as a cop out like they even care for their well being

It probably won't matter signing or not but I did choose to sign. I don't want to argue,This is my opinion and only mine. You have every right not to sign it just like every right not to vote. I also feel the ones that choose not to vote or sign will be the ones complaining the loudest " why did this happen". We have to stand up for our rights. A little at a time the government is taking our rights away. One day we will wake up with no rights at all.

You are right about one thing.....I started smoking when I was 14.It was probably because my paretns both smoked. If my parents vaped when I was a child, at worst I would probably have started vaping when I was 14. Smokers are smokers, yea some may quit and some will not nor care to quit. If we can convert the smokers to vapers I think our younger generations would be more likely to vape too (instead of smoke). That would change everything. I dont think that would be as terrible as people would think.

If the proposed regulations turn out ugly, this is exactly what I expect the vaping community to do.

As another poster said, they probably underestimate our passion and our resolve.
We are not going to slink off into the shadows like they did to us with smoking.
