Also if you are not invisible there is usually a way to track where you are. I have been on other sites where I have picked up a stalker or two. What happens is they will follow you around the site and be obnoxious. They comment rudely on anything you say. Not enough to get kicked off just enough so you feel the need to respond. Some sites call them trolls but the ones that follow an individual around are stalkers. Often their goal is to get people kicked off the site by egging them on to the point where they themselves break a rule. It mostly happens in political forums or chat rooms, but I would imagine it could even happen on his site. They are weak pathetic creatures who only feel in control or powerful by making others respond. I think most of them live in their parents basements and at forty still drive a moped. (and not a cool one either)

Personally, I think sometimes it's easy to be sensitive about things, I know I can be. I'm only new to this whole forum thing, I don't have an Internet Presence outside of ECF & I try to steer clear of all the Social Networking stuff as much as I can.
Forums are strange places and you're essentially communicating with an avatar and words. You can only judge by what you see & read, and sometimes it can fall horribly short of what someone meant to express, whilst some people have one tune they like beating - a lot! and others believe they are the Fount of Knowledge and self proclaimed Experts, when they can barely string a sentence and have only been on the Forum two secs And tell complete noobs and some very gullible ones at that "This is how it Must be" or make derisive comments and if challenged play the Victim, and others are just plain GRUMPY!
My take, it's vaping, about vaping and vaping devices, can people really loose All their Sense of Humour over it or even be completely devoid of it?

Damn those Asterisks' I still can't get to the bottom of it.
I'm giving up, when I see them, I'll post and ask! If I get any replies I'll post back.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think an asterisk by your user name is there as a warning. You have broken one of the ECF rules so it is like a slap on the wrist. Small infractions get an asterisk bigger ones get you booted.

That sounds kind of like a scarlet letter. I couldn't find anything about the asterisk, but I did find a list of rule violations and penalties.
