Why did I wait so long?

Why did I wait so long? Because I'm a silly cat.

When I first started researching Ecigs back in May, it was a toss up between the Janty Dura and the Vapor King. I went with the Dura, mainly because of reported issues with the auto batteries on the VK way back then. What I got was a great PV that had carts that tasted like plastic after they got a little dry, constant maintenance but great vapor. I then got the first run of the Janty Stick, eliminated a lot of the draw backs of the Dura but the cool vapor didn't satisfy. Finally found what I though was vaping nirvana when I got my Prodigy with the 801. Huge clouds of nice warm vapor. This combination finally got me off of analogs, and for that I'm very happy. Since then I've dropped the 801, found the 901 was more consistent at 5v, had better flavor, and lasted much longer. And I fell back in love with the 510 on my Protege via dripping.

Then I decided to take a look at the Vapor King/KR808D again about a month ago when adapters became available. I was more than surprised, great taste, warm vapor and long lasting. All the best with few of the drawbacks of the 3 piece designs I'd been fighting with for over 4 months. I ordered a couple packs of cartomizers from Vapor 4 Life and haven't looked back. Yesterday I received my first large order from them. A manual kit along with an auto battery and 4 packs of cartomizers. They threw in an extra long bat and another pack of cartomizers as well.

I have become a V4L believer, abet a little late. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Vapor King to any smoker. In fact I talked to 2 fence sitters at work yesterday, and let them try it with a fresh Hilton cart, both will be ordering. I actually recommended the auto battery as well, which is surprising. I've always preferred the manual batteries but on the VK I really like the auto. Placing another order today to get another, maybe one of the new long autos.

I still will use my 901 and 510 mods, but since I only drip with them, they will remain at home. Resigned to testing my juice concoctions, and of course for cartomizers. My Protege always has a carto attached.

It was a learning experience, but found some things I really like and many that I didn't. It could have been so simple, but many of the newer users don't remember some of Smilin's struggles during the early days of preaching the wonders of the VK. Customs problems, battery issues and carto problems. But he worked it, and now has the premier ecig on the market today. With Leaford going to the factories next week, it will get even better. Funny thing is, it was a review by Leaford on the Janty Dura that pushed me in that direction originally. We live and learn.

Steve may have had a rough start, but I wasn't in the community at that point. Of course, all vendors will have some stumbling points along the way. However, the product is almost always good, and the service is what really caught me. It's rare to find a vendor who puts your satisfaction first and foremost, and that is what keeps me at V4L.

I agree that with Leaford making the trip out to China things will only continue to get better. Honestly I'm really excited to see how things develop.

I am not to crazy about the auto pt either, and was surprised to get one with my manual kit, the site says manual pt. It may be because I ordered the chrome for battery color and he doesn't have any chrome manual passthrus.

Really want to get a few more of the auto batteries, they rock. I tied it last night with a chrome 901 I had as well. Plus with winter coming, those tiny buttons will be hard to feel thru heavy gloves.

Leaford brings a lot of great energy to V4L, can only make the best even better!

I first learned about the VK and the KR808 in general when I asked for suggestions on an easy to use, foolproof e-cig to recommend to others who might not care for all the fiddling required for a conventional 3-piece design.

I ended up trying it out myself, and my 510 hasn't been used since.

Haven't tried the auto batteries yet, but I may have to give them a shot.
