So I'm going through one of those high bills, low income moments that most face at one moment or another and I ran clean out of e liquid and cartos so I headed over to fasttect and bought my first rda (phenoix V5) and three bottles of dekang juice. Other than the extra airy drag from the rda I'm loving it. My problem comes in with these super artificial tasting, harsh throat hit just all around sucky juices. Is there anyway I can improve the quality of these juices for little to no money. Would adding vanilla extract help any. I could use any idea at all cause I really really want to stay away from the stinkies! Thanks ECF family in advance!

Maybe go to the diy and ask.You may find the best way to salvage it.

Well I'm not slamming them at all. I'm simply stating that the liquid I have from them is nothing like the many liquids I've tasted prior to now. And is not my taste. I posted this thread to get help on my currant problem so if u don't have anything helpful to say maybe you shouldn't have replied to my thread wv2win. People like you are the reason I dont come to this site when I need help. Now maybe u should go to another thread where u could actually help someone.

About 6 months in I hit a wall with the taste buds and none of the juice I had tasted any good at all.... I went to the local craft shop and bought some Wilton VG in the cake mix section and vaped it straight, no flavoring, no nicotine.... just clouds of vapor without the harsh taste.... that got me through the bad patch.....YMMV

Good luck.......

I've never tried putting vanilla in juice...have no idea if it's even "safe"...but I suppose there's no reason to think it's not. Not sure. The idea of straight VG is a possibility (as suggested in an earlier post) VG is easy to get...craft stores, pharmacies, Walmart, etc. It has a vaguely sweetish hint of taste to it, and lots of people like it plain. If the plain VG is too thick and won't wick, you can dilute it with a teensy bit of distilled water (so I hear).

Don't have much else to suggest. Good luck!!!

I would suggest having a small stock of concentrated flavorings on hand. These only take a drop or two at most to improve a flavor or sweeten. Most grocery flavorings are too weak. Vanillan/nut mix/cotton candy etc are a few good ones. Most of the dekang juices are much less sweet than what americans seem to prefer. I vape lots of the dekang dk-tab doctored up with flavor and love the stuff.

To be fair, just re-read the title you used on your thread.

Dekang is high PG. In my experience, Dekang is always improved by adding at least a third more VG. That will decrease throat hit and weaken any artificial taste as well as sweeten them up a bit. Once you learn how much VG is required for your liking, then buy the nic level with this weakening in mind. For right now, with what you already have, it would be better to weaken the nic strength than to go back to smokes. Also, don't vape them above 3.7 volts. In my experience, again, if you do you might get that celery or diesel fuel, nose burning, thing happen. Evidently, higher heat is required to bring that out. You can actually save yourself some money this way. For instance, I vape 12 mg and like around 35 to 50% VG so I buy 24mg Dekang and mix in an equal part of VG so that cuts my Dekang juice expense in half to be spent on the more expensive one I like.

Edit: If you step over to the DIY section and study, you will find that there are many ways to change the taste of a juice without taking any drastic steps like trying to mask a flavor by adding another. Juice is not like cooking. Very small molecular changes can create a totally different taste. That's why mixers make the bucks they do. For instance, you may not like menthol at all but adding a single drop of menthol (or mint) to a juice will boost or dimish another flavor making a completely new tasting juice with no menthol taste to it at all. Hope that helps.
