I went nuts one day, trying to figure out where my battery was when I had to send a busted one back to SI, and it didn't come the day it said it was "out for delivery." It came the next day, I guess because of July 4th, they were a little behind.

I'm right there with you all. It is definitely not just vapemail that is like that though. Anything that is mail ordered sends me into F5 fits. International purchases are the absolute worst though.

As an example. A vendor that I use for my LiPo purchases for my r/c hobby is in China. I messed up and just used the registered mail option this last time, and not the express (for just $1 more). I think the real express comes from getting through customs on those. My package made it from China, to Singapore, to Switzerland, to New York in about 5 days, and has now been sitting since the 3rd. Just says "Processed through USPS Sort Facility" ISC New York NY(USPS). Waiting for customs is a B$%^@

That's not even as bad as the other package I am waiting on that was "shipped" on the 26th, and had an expected delivery by the 11th, it still just says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" "Accepted 6/26/12 10:39am China Peoples Rep"
That one I may have to get a hold of someone about...

Update: LiPos from China arrived today. Dang international registered mail and no updates after hitting US soil. Gotta remember next time to get the express.
